2001 bayou 220 KLF220A

Need some help putting a new ignition switch on this thing. I'm not finding homes for all the wires. I can hook up the white wire and brown wire, But the switch has a B/W and Solid Yellow wire i can't find a home for, and there aren't any more wires in the vicinity from the harness that match this, except one red wire with a double female end crimped on, and a few B/Y grounds. None of the wiring diagrams i've founder or have been given match.

I'm also wondering if i have the wrong switch? some switches appear to have 4 wires and other just 2, the Brown wire and a White wire.

I'm at a loss here. Thanks.

That download isn't working for me, for some reason. but it does stand to reason i may need a 2 wire switch, as all i have is a white and brown available on the harness.

Replaced the key switch, CDI box, and igniter, WE HAVE SPARK! just need to slap a carburetor on this sucker, and some new fuel line and tires.

What do y'all recommend for crankcase oil? assuming it has a Wet Clutch, so probably Valvoine ATV 10w40 will be my choice.

Valvoline is good oil, i have never used their ATV oil, i have been using Yamalube mineral oil, it has the best rating and is not that much more expensive than any other, i have also used Suzuki Ecstar in my Suzukis no issues. I have also used Rotella and Castrol no issues with any of them.

Well since i got spark, before i put a new carb on and all that, i figured i'd see if it'd pop over on some starting fluid.. gave it a squirt through the carb.. no go. made sure i had spark. i have spark. put a new plug in. Gave it a shot in the plug hole. no fire.

What gives?  I know i have fuel (since im introducing it directly), i have spark, a new NGK plug...

Well, it seems now i have no spark.... rechecked it.....

How can i go from having no spark, New CDI, Igniter and Switch, get spark. leave it alone for a day, come back. no spark.

Thats Bad, I think the first thing i would do is check all my connections and make sure they are good and tight. Im sure you have done that already. Does everything else seem to be working correctly, just no spark.

How often do the starter switches go bad on these things?  I can jump from solenoid, but nothing at the start button--also don't have neutral light or headlights/taillights...chasing some odd electrical

I recently purchased a raptor 80 for my grandson for  christmas. I am trying to make sure it is running properly. i have rebuilt the carb and adjusted the carb idle then the mixture to middle of where it runs rough and it runs great for about a min or 2. then it stalls out. I can usually choke it and it will start so i feel it is lacking fuel. the fuel shutoff valve has been changed and i checked it for good fuel flow.  any ideas of what to check next. I am planning to vfy fuel float height tomorrow. I visually checked it by turning carb upside down when i had it apart and it looked level. any ideas are appreciated.

      Thanks.

      Hey everyone,
I’m having an issue with my 2021 Polaris Sportsman 570 – the engine keeps stalling after running for about 10–15 minutes. I’ve checked the air filter, spark plug, and fuel lines, but can’t seem to find the root of the problem. It starts up just fine, but then loses power suddenly.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with this model/year? Would appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips you’ve tried that worked. Thanks in advance for your help!

The battery on my Big Bear drops completely down in the battery compartment nothing sticks up to grip too, plus there is only 1/8" clearance along the sides, no way to get a grip on it to pull up out of battery compartment. I thought about putting a piece nylon strap under the battery and leaving enough up each side to give me something to pull it up out ff the battery compartment or using a big zip tie around the battery.
Any others have any ideas or have had this issue.

This thing came with a cheap aftermarket carb on it the problem I'm having is it won't start with choke installed into carburetor it will start and get run without it installed then bogs out after about 2 min run time I've checked timing , compression, checked valves for proper clearance , also did a smoke test for air leaks found none.
