Rotella T Oils?

I've been using Rotella T6 in my 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 350 with no problems, but was wondering what you guys think.  Do you fellas like the T6 or is there another easy to find oil that's better?

I've been using Rotella T in everything from 1949 8N tractor, 1930 Caterpillar model 40, to all my small 4 stroke gas engines.  No trouble I can blame on the oil.  I bet most major oils would do as well.  I would check with engine manufacturer for any peculiarities that would be contrary.

Some quads use a wet clutch so you have to make sure is is wet clutch safe if yours is that type.

Actually all Rotella T oils are rated for wet clutch use.  Rotella T4 is a conventional oil, T5 is a blend, and T6 is full synthetic.  I was just wondering if anyone has found an easier to find and better value oil than the T6.  I can find T6 at Walmart or any parts store and it's pretty inexpensive.

Thanks for the update on rotella.  I forgot that I've been running it for years in bikes I used to have.  I plead "old timers disease".

Iv'e used Rotella T5 15 40 in my Dune quad as well my 4x4 Kodiak and old Honda Foreman 450 without any problem !!

I use T4 in most of my equipment, diesel truck. I buy it in the 5 gallon bucks when they go on sale or theres a rebate. I use walmart synthetic in most of my other things including the ATVs with good results and a significant cost savings.

Which Walmart synthetic do you use in the ATV's?  I didn't know they would work with a wet clutch.

I use the supertech full synthetic ATV that is JASO MA2 certified (safe for wet clutches). It used to be $5/qt, now its like 7 but never have any problems with it.

I generally use the Rotella T4 non synthetic the T6 synthetic version is good. I also use the Valvoline wet clutch oil from walmart mart, probably the best, but they are all good,

I'm putting it in Yamaha Rhino's, Grizzlys, Bruins, a Suzuki DR 650, and a Honda Foreman.

Nice !! Im putting it in my 2025 Kodiak 700 , 2003 Foreman 450, and 2005 TRX 450R ( mostly my Dune quad ) and have no problems !!

In my original post, I was really trying to see if there was a synthetic just as good as Rotella T6 for less money.  It looks like T6 is the way to go for the best engine protection.

Super Tech from WaMart may be cheaper i have never used it but others i know who have used it say its good.

I have never used it but the guys i know that do, said they never had a problem with that.

I use T4 in everything now. 15w-40 usually. 

Started using because of the wet clutch system. Like the heavier weights for air cooled engines. 

Normally I don't spend the money on synthetics because I usually don't have cold starts and I change it way more often than needed. 

Running it in kawasaki, suzuki, yamaha, john deere, new holland, and whatever the stupid push mower is lol.

Rotella T4 is a good oil im using it in many air cooled small engines.
