I usually carry a plug kit and a Colby valve stem which can be installed without removing tire, and usually a amall air pump about the size of an i phone, it works well enough for the low pressure tires. That will usually be enough to get you home.

Why a  Colby valve stem ? I carry a pump and tire plugs but haven't thought of a valve stem !!

Colby valve stems  come in very handy if the valve  stem  gets damaged and leaking.  Plug kits are great for  punctures  but they're useless if the  valve stem  is damaged..   Your  air pump  is  useless without a serviceable  valve stem  to  fill  the tire.  Yes,  you can  limp  in with a leaky  valve if you make multiple  stops to  fill  the tire, but  damage the  valve stem to the point it  leaks too  fast or  you are unable to  attach   your  pump  and you are  SOL.

A stem kit is small and not expensive. I have had a case where a stem was leaking and replaced it on the trail. I also carry a bottle of slime but will only use it as a last resort.

The tire plug kit should also include rubber cement. Helps them to seal better.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!
