That is something I call throttle thumb or arm pump. You just have to train your muscles to work like that. There are products out there that make the thumb piece longer so you use more hand than just thumb.

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself! Ride hard, ride safe, ride often!

Congrats on the new quad and getting to ride. Sounds like you had a blast! I can't wait to get out myself.

Yep...had a blast. My wife drove for the first time and I think we're going to get her an ATV for herself. It would make both of use more comfortable. Any good places in N GA, N AL, or TN that you'd suggest riding?

Dry gulch is pretty crazy , very very different. Looked like it had not been ridden very much.

But i think its gonna be closed for two and a half months.

You want to ride coppinger cove?

I guess I could do a net search but I'd rather have 'local' info. Is Dry Gulch in CP? I ride and most of the time don't bother to check the names out. Where's Coppinger Cove? What's the difficulty of it?

I think the fam is going next Tuesday afternoon since it's raining today and we don't want to discourage the women. Probably a good thing since my back isn't cooperating today.

Cool , call me sometime .

Im out changing the oil fro the first time , no manuel.

Coppinger is in sequatachie valley, its a unusual place .

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

Ok guys, I am a glutton for punishment! I picked up this 01 2wd Rancher because the plastics looked good on the marketplace. It has been sitting in the guys back yard for 10 years. The original engine blew and they swapped in an electric shift 4x4 engine. 😒The engine is locked up and was full of water. The wiring is hacked where they tried to get it to run and the rear end needs new swingarm bearings where they left it laying on the ground in the woods for 10 years. Has anyone here ever did the engine swap? First thing is to straighten out the wiring and get the engine free to see if I can get it to crank over. I have swingarm bearings ordered and a new ignition switch. So hopefully I can at least roll it around soon. 🤣
