Don't jinx it. Mother Nature will get pissed if you say it's Spring time and its not yet. That lady carries a big stick and will hit us all hard with it.

Good morning boys and girls. It's a nice day here...NOT SPRING YET....but a nice day

I guess I just was hoping if I wished hard enough it would be true. I will have to go make a sacrifice to the winter gods :bow: by leaving my plow at the ready for another 20 days to persuade Mother Nature to take pity.

Did someone say coffee?

What a rough morning!

My first son(11) came home early from school with a cold so he was up coughing all night and my other son(9) woke up last night puking his brains out with the flu. Spent most of the night cleanning the carpets in his bedroom and the wall in the bathroom. So once again, did someone say coffee?

Thanks Bio and Bimmer. That was one hell of a good coffee.

Something strange happened to me today. I was conatacted this morning by The Discovery Channel and notified that someone has nominated me to be on a show called "Canadas Greatest Know-It-All".

I'm in the process of filling out the questionnaire right now. What the hell, I'll give try. Whats the worst that can happen? They say no!

I'm not quite sure but they said that they will be taping for the entire month of June. I guess it's just a waiting game now!

WOW !! Sounds like you need a good morning coffee !! What was the flood from?

We had a huge spring thaw with 2 days of hard rain. Melted over a foot of snow. The sump pump overheated and turned off in the night and the battery backup coulden't keep up. What a mess.

We are having the same problem, The rivers are flooding the little towns. People are having to climb to higher ground.:no:

      Snow Shoe Rails to Trails held their annual chicken BBQ event. Food sold out in one hour! (400 dinners) They had a drive through option for those who were not riding.  Weather was warm, but cooled off decently at night. Was good to finally get out camping and riding.

      Another great weekend at Snow Shoe Rails to Trails for their annual pig roast. Thursday and Friday nights were quite cool at night. We run a buddy heater in the tent to keep warm. One of our members brought a drone and was able to get some cool video. Ill have to put it together and upload it to Youtube. They were sold out of food by 2:15pm. Trailhead was packed and they had to use two overflow areas for parking. I took a few snapshots from the drone video. One is a railroad viaduct that a few years ago we were able to cross it on our quads. It has been closed for a few years now.

      Why Leota you might ask,and not somewhere new?
      Cause there are lots of trails to ride,and my old as* has to get familiar with the trails so I do not take a wrong turn.
      ...and Yes I already took a few wrong turns...getting better tho.
