1984 Honda ATC 70 help!!

hey i got a honda atc70!! really good shape for 60 bucks!! the bad news is it has no pullstart, i diagnosed it with no spark so i figured it needs points cleaned, so i took the flywheel bolt off and was in the proces of taking flywheel off but i sccidentally messed up the bolt thread on the bolt that holds the flywheel, and the nut dosnt want to go in it no longer! is there anything i can do before going to buy na china motor??? i preffer to stikk to this one if its fixable, thanks

go to the parts store and buy a thread file and carefully restore the threads. It takes patience! I have fixed a couple like this and saved them big bucks! My file is about 6 inches long, square and has 8 different thread pitches on it. It is a 'must have' in the bike tool box!

I think he's talking about the end of the crank... were the points in there or are they up on the head like the 90s?

the pullstart you should be able to find on ebay and if not, google around for 3 wheeler forums- there are several.

I would definately try that before buying a Chinese motor, I have never known any one who has a Chinese quad and not had constant problems with it. What year is your trike?

im not really shure, but i believe is an 84..yea im definetly try that, because those china motors arent that good,
