2001 Quad Runner 500 Idle High/ Back fires

Okay here is my issue I have just bought a quarunner and it startsup just fine but then idles high, I have adjusted it were is sounds about right, now the othr problem is that it back fires when I go about 20-30 mphs it want go much faster the carbs were just replaced so I have no clue what else I can do

The choke has been off, and the carbs were just rebulit but they could have had missed something, I took it to the shop I was just running out of ideas they seem to think it might be a bad valve, but he is goiing to run some test first,

Have him check for vacuum leaks also !! Could be valves need ajustment also !!

      Timberwolf 250 starting issue

      Hi all. I have a timberwolf 250 2nd that will not start.. I thought it was out of time bc the guy I got it from said it just quit on him. The tensioner had a nut welded to it and it was like2 teeth off. I installed new tensioner and chain and it still will not start. It has fire and it will not hit off brake cleaner. It has compression. Haven't put a gauge but I'm sure it will crank and run with what it has. I double checked my work and it's still in time. Spot on. Both valves move. I'm about to put a feeler gauge on them and I'll cone back but other than that any ideas?

      on my honda trx 500 we have no power to the ignition switch for starting or ignition
      we have lights and horn working
      all fuses are fine
      have traced through the harness and cant find any broken wires or bad connections
      from what we have gathered so far the pgm fi unit is not sending any power to the fuel pump relay to power everything up.
      if we put power direct to the ignition switch plug then everything works but wth the key in the off position.
      does this sound like a faulty pgm fi unit?

      Hey everyone,
      I’m having an issue with my 2021 Polaris Sportsman 570 – the engine keeps stalling after running for about 10–15 minutes. I’ve checked the air filter, spark plug, and fuel lines, but can’t seem to find the root of the problem. It starts up just fine, but then loses power suddenly.
      Has anyone experienced a similar issue with this model/year? Would appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips you’ve tried that worked. Thanks in advance for your help!

      2023 Hisun Axis 700 fuel problem

      Hisun 700 EFI. Replaced TMAP sensor had broken off . Fuel pump pressure 41psi. The only way I can keep it running (and runs fine) is to close off fuel return line.

      2003 Kawasaki bayou 250 carb problem

      This thing came with a cheap aftermarket carb on it the problem I'm having is it won't start with choke installed into carburetor it will start and get run without it installed then bogs out after about 2 min run time I've checked timing , compression, checked valves for proper clearance , also did a smoke test for air leaks found none.
