hi: no where it gos into the fuel shut-off valve, i use the worm-gear type clamps, on all the fuel hose connections. this fuel line fitting, connector, is made of aluminium,. and fits or pushes back into the fuel shut-off valve,. and then you push your fuel hose, onto it. and then slip a clamp, onto the hose,. the problem that i am having right now. is when you push the fuel fitting connector, into the fuel shut-off valve, it will not hold in place in the fuel shut-off valve., that is where the fuel is leaking. thanks

Drain the fuel, clean the connection and apply a slight amount of RTV Silicone to the fitting, then clamp it with a real hose clamp. Make sure you let it dry and be careful not to get any inside the fuel line. Drying time should be a day+, then add fuel.

If that does not work replace the fuel hose it may be stretched.

Fuel vale body to inlet tube leakage is usually a bad vale assy. I've fixed mine empty or tilt tank a good cleaning of both the body inlet and fitting spray with brake cleaner and epoxy it back in place being care full of getting any epoxy inside clamp it in lightly, wait at least 48 hours before putting in fuel. beware it's not ,necessarily a safe way to go but it will hold until you get a new assy. I've had mine last for years but i wouldn't sell it that way.

Guys, I've got a 1999 Honda Foreman 450S.  It runs great, but smokes out the exhaust after startup until it warms up.  I'm thinking the valve seals are leaking.  I was wondering if there is a way to replace them without removing the head or if there's an oil additive that will recondition the rubber seals.  Any advice?

This thing came with a cheap aftermarket carb on it the problem I'm having is it won't start with choke installed into carburetor it will start and get run without it installed then bogs out after about 2 min run time I've checked timing , compression, checked valves for proper clearance , also did a smoke test for air leaks found none.

Hey all, new to the forum! I just bought a 1998 Kawasaki bayou 300, 4x4 not running. Initially I found no spark. Ended up playing with the plug wire (made sure plug top and wiring was touching) and got spark yesterday and the quad fired up off ether. Come to work on it today and now no spark again. Before I got spark and now today if I touch the plug after cranking I get shocked, and it will spark after I release the starter button. I was jumping the quad with a freshly charged car battery that has 12v while cranking. Cleaned out the kill switch and ignition button. All looks good. Purchased new plugs. They're are a lot of wires cut/ disconnected. But shouldn't matter if I got spark without them connected...
