My neighbor had a 50cc atv he wanted to sell this past summer it's in great shape only the rear fender plastic is broke. So I told a friend about it for his daughter since his wife, son & himself have quads his son is getting a kawasaki 300 for christmas. He came and looked at the 50. My neighbour said it's yours Merry Christmas and gave him the quad!

it's nice to know that people still have kindness during these hectic times........we gave my sons best friend has Carter Talon buggy when we got his quad because he had nothing but crap to ride and it broke down all of the time....plus, his eyes bugged outta his head when he moved here and first saw the thing,,,it was just the right thing to do,,,they both could ride for hours everyday with the exception of stopping to refill tanks and to pee....LOL:laugh:

nothing more gratifying than to see a kid screaming inside because someone outside their family did a gesture like this. too many scooges in the world now. just take take take, and never give ....

everyone should learn a lesson from this! IMO

Has anyone had a suzuki 230 quad lock the engine up?  Its a well maintained bike, it locked up when my son was riding it. Pulled the plug, it has connected with the piston. I'm thinking the con rod let go.  I don't have a service manual.  Does the engine need to come out to check further?

I recently read an article about restoring or at least improving the looks of faded and discolored plastic body parts. In the article it suggested using a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and paint thinner. You mix it up and apply it with a brush or rag to rub it in and remove the oxidation. I curious to find out if anyone has had experience with doing this and what was their short/long term results of doing so. I would hate to try it and find out that a few weeks/months down the road my plastic body parts self destruct.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.
