I have had my trx for almost a year now its been working great i put a full hmf exhaust an air filter and i got a dyno jet kit stage 2 i followed the instructions and just changed the main jet ..its been working fine but i feel that it can go much faster at top speeds and it starts choking and popping at 5th gear max speed??? how can i stop that and get more top speed??open the airbox?? help plz

well you can get spark plugs over the internet im not sure of the best place bc i get mine from a local shop but id recomend runnnin at least 93 premium gas in it...i have a fmf pipe an jet kit an a big bore and i ran the cheap stuff in it for about an hour and it did not like it it was poppin and choking untill i changged to 93 so id run premium gas and as far as plugs go ngk are prety good but id check around online as well

You need to use the correct plug.. And as far as i know the only one that you can use is the NGK IFR8H11.

But as far as why its choking and popping in the top RPM range it could be the main jet is a little rich, you could try going down a size or 2 on the main jet and see if it helps..

I`d loose that Dyno jet kit and find a HRC jet Kit made for honda !! air box lid on or off ?? Your probably hittin your rev limiter at max speed !! you can also do the Green wire mod ! That gives you a xrta 1000 rpms !!

lid on....i feal that the bike can goo faster thats the iissue its hittin the rev limiter early> what is the green wire mod>>and will it cause any problems???

soo it has nothin to doo with the jetting or ith the pilot jet

if i poen the lid would it doo the job instead of goin down at the main jet

as far as goin faster dude just get a big bore and make it a 490 or sumthin then you should have enough power to make you hap bc the little things arent gunna give you as much power or speed as it seems ur looking for, you could also experment with diff sprockets for more top end.

      1990 kawasaki bayou 300c idles fine but pops out exhaust and intake when trying to excel, will not take throttle past 1/4 , any one had this problem?
      have replaced carb twice, same thing, fresh built engine cylinder head, same as before, new spark plug, flywheel key is good, pulser test good, good spark

      When I bought my atv.its missing the air filter.on the parts diagram.it shows the air filter cage separate.but in my air filter box.it looks like it has an air filter cage fastened to air filter box.do I need a air filter cage on top of piece in air box.

      I recently picked up a  2000 warrior 350 and it doesn’t have the air filter box so I was thinking about using a clamp on filter directly on the carb.  Anyone know what I need to get or where I can find it? The one I ordered goes in the box and won’t fit directly on the carb.

      I've got a 1995 220 Bayou and the electric start does not work.  When I got it the machine was pretty rough but I was told it ran less than a year ago.  The key switch had been cut off and wires  twisted after the key was lost.  I bought a new ignition switch and repaired the wiring and it is working correctly.  It is in neutral and the neutral light is on when the key is turned on but I get nothing when pressing the start button.  I verified there is no voltage going to the starter from the solenoid.  The fuse in the solenoid is good.  Something I found that is odd is that I get positive voltage(12 volts) to the brown, black, and white wires that run into the solenoid when the key is on.  That doesn't make sense to me but I could be wrong.  I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance.

      Okay so I bought this 1997 sazuki king quad from a guy and he had it for a few years. 
      He had it registered and on the trails last year but he said it bogged and backfired when he would try to drive it. so it sat for a year. 
      I bought it for 800 bucks and got it running that night and it ran great for a few days 
      But I parked it the other night and went to start it again and it was really hard to fire up and when I did it was bogging and idling high then low again.
      So I took the carb out and cleaned it (ended up doing it twice because it was still doing the same thing) 
      Now today I have it running slightly better, but it is still like 20% 
      I have been looking it up and trying to figure it out but I can't find the issue, has anyone else had this problem? I'll attach a video of it running and giving some throttle
