Well new here! Just found this site and have to say I like it so far from what I am seeing! I am a sand rider thru and thru! Here is a pic of my ride... And to support my habit I work with West Coast Hydrographics out of Clackamas Oregon...

Earth mover.. This iso not a decal. It is paint with hydrographics. We can do this on anything personable. It is base coated , dipped, and then clear coated. So you end up with a finish as nice or nicer than a high end automobile...

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.

"Wolf" in North Idaho, Ulfthednar to all ya'll heathens out there.
New to ATVs but not real new to life.
Just picked up a 2022 CFMoto CForce 800XC.
I've been wrenching on my own vehicles since my first bicycle fifty years ago.
I have found in the long run that the brand name in most cases has less to do with than the idiot wielding the wrench.
Built up several trucks, built my 80 80 FLH Electra Glide out of milk crates, wrenched on a lot of other stuff in between.
Ive even Trail road my 73 shovel in places that would give a kid with a BMX second thoughts.
Anyway, Ive wanted an ATV for awhile and its already handy around the house and a lot of fun out on the trails.
From a point of view of working on things for quite awhile . . I am not disappointed in the least yet.
Not with ATV riding or the machine . . .
My back yard runs up to about an 8 or 9 pitch (for ya carpenters out there) and rips right up it.
This thing pulls hills and handles pretty damn good once you get the drifties going.
Its close to 1,000 lbs so I dont really see it as a jumping machine, but it handled a pretty good bunch of whoopties out on an MX/ATV trail.
Once I got the timing down of the machine it was a sheer blast.
Id have more pics of that day, but every time I stopped the bald face wasps tried to jack my machine and lunch.

I finally found an awsome app for your phone that shows you on a map all the trails near your location. You can read or add reviews, look at picts...etc
      Its called: atv escape

      Scrub brushes didn't work.
Pressure washer was able to remove the high spots and leave a nice consistent orange.
Sent the cylinder out for a new sleeve and it came back shotblasted clean.
Wire brush and elbow grease does the best so far, now using drill attachment with wire brush.
What else besides scotch brite pads and detergent is out there?
