Friday evening went riding, rode for a good hour or so everything was fine. I went to take a short ride to the restroom (less than 100 yds away) and all of the sudden everything flickered and then just died out. Accompanying the problem I noticed the killswitch completely locked up. Once daylight hit took the killswitch apart to find it had shorted out and melted the plastic inside. Has anyone else had anything similar to this and if so what did you do to fix the situation? I have a new killswitch on the way to replace the obvious problem but was wondering could there be a bigger issue at hand. We tested with a voltage meter to make sure everything was still getting power from the battery and as far as we could tell it was.
Any advice/info would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks.

Bet you've never seen a Tonneau cover that can hold 2 - 4-wheelers on top of it. This is a home-made heavy duty fiberglass truck bed cover that was used on an 2000 F-350 with an 8' bed. We have used it hundreds of times but are getting out of the 4-wheeling fun. You can waterproof with a rubber seal, not included. This leaves the area under the cover open for all your gear and firewood. It is white and in great shape. 4-wheelers NOT included.

I am working on a Honda sportrax I just got my daughter for get birthday and the reverse and neutral light are not working. When I traced the wire down I saw that it wasn't plugged in but I don't see where it is supposed to connect. Does any one have a general idea of where I should look?

i know this isnt an atv but same type of thing. I have a riding mower im fixing and selling for my aunt and it has a dead battery. i jumped it off my atv and when i turn the key nothing at all happens. i tried jumping the relay still nothing. this is with the seat down. you wouldnt think this mower would have issues as its a top-of-the-line brand and almost brand new (aunt found it for a good price, still got tits on tires, just sat for a couple months in a mechanic shop

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.
