  1. The large size combination wrenches are handy to have.. Most bolts and nuts from about 1" / 25.4 mm up to 2" / 50.8 mm can be handled by those wrenches without having to also have a set of metric wrenches of the same sizes. My inner nuts on my Honda rear axle were either handled by my 1 !/2 wrench also, I believe.. Like GW, It was a while ago and I'm not sure which one it was .. Torque specs are fine if you have a specialized torque wrench that you could use, but not necessary. Snugged up solid , and checked to be sure nothing has loosened up after a few hours of running will do.

  2. Oh no I was just saying the year suzukis came out as a 300 varies from place to place. Sometimes what you guys have doesn't coincide with our year models. I was probably confused about what WeeBee was asking.

  3. How about buy a new spare nut.. cheaper than a whole set of spanners. Also, some of those nuts are skinny and the inner nut needs a thin spanner. I've made thin spanners before out of 6mm steel strap. You plan it so the hex will be at an angle to the handle, then cut two sides of the hex out of the end at that angle, then take a wedge off the other end and weld it on to make the last side of the hex. As long as you use it so the load comes on near the inner end of the welded bit they are plenty strong enough.

  5. The jumbo set is nice, but I ended up getting their large impact sockets for the larger size that you very rarely need, they were cheaper but the drawback was they were deep well sockets too long to get in tight places. I also got a set of huge open end wrenches sometimes you just can’t get in there with a socket even the shorter ones,

  6. From what i recall i think it was 1 1/2 inch open end to use to get in there.

  7. The 300s are the same as King Quad and the 400s are the same as the Eiger.

  8. Looks like you forgot to take your meds, Narcissus. You totally ignore the guy wanting help while you pout and cry. If it ran great with a dead battery that is evidence that the regulator is faulty. It's a known issue on these quads. The higher the rpms, the higher the voltage will be unless the regulator regulates it properly. Once the voltage gets to 18v the cdi will not function. Having a dead battery will act as a regulator and lower the voltage so the engine will run better. That's why Mech said to try turning the lights on to see if it runs better. I taught him that a year ago and he can't stand it.

  9. Make sure the carb isn't letting gas leak into the throat. My King quad did this and I could only figure out what was going on by looking into the carb while the bike idled. I attached the video of what was happening and a picture of the piece that I needed to replace. Also changing those o rings didnt fix the problem bc it was leaking from the center circle where the needle goes. 20220411_183625.mp4

  10. If cleaning the carb fixed the high low idle, i would check the fuel flow to the carb and make sure it is getting good flow and maybe the float height. If it ran good for a few days and then all of a sudden not so good, it may not be charging and the battery voltage has dropped.
