  1. I actually have heavy black chaps now. I usually wear them walking thru heavy grass when dove hunting. I love to eat doves. But more importantly the chaps look cool... LOL..They are open in the back which is Cool looking and actually cool in the heat. Mine are heavy snake proof. Here on the Southeast we have the Eastern Diamond back Rattle snake. It is the largest venomous snake in the US; recorded at 8.25 Ft. The largest I have ever encountered riding off road on my bicycle measured 6 ft. (an old man farmer stopped when he saw me watching it and killed it). They traditional are shy and move away if they can. The damn cotton mouth will come after you. They love to hang in low branches of trees over hanging ponds and creeks looking for frogs etc in the water below. That puts them about head high when you are padding in a canoe.

  2. Too hot here (WY) to wear black. Boots help with the rattle snakes but they can strike pretty high if they're pissed off

  6. Yes, its a 2025 4X4 Foreman w 518 cc motor. It has Manual transmission. 12 inch tires front and rear. The dealer is installing a 3500 lb winch on it. The sales guy was great and wants to go with me on my first ride to show features I guess. It is still in the overseas shipping frame in the picture. They are prepping it now. Great $ from this big dealer in Cocoa,FL. tires are on steel rims...I like the feel of hard steel. Probably buy a new set mounted on steel also with aggressive tread off ebay or amazon. another dealer quoted a Rubicon that has same motor but independent rear instead of a solid axle. it was $2,000 more.
