-
Sounds like your'e havin fun!!! Let's see some pictures when you get a chance!
Welcome to your new home!
-
Hey David! welcome, and I have a son in Bakersfield- you anywhere nearby?
-
WE need a ZOOK mechanic! I don't know enuf to advise but will ask around for ya!
-
I sent you a PM about this- hope it helps. Please let me know if it does.
-
HEY my quad didn't come with one of those! I think I got cheated!! someone's in trouble!!!
WELCOME both of you to our home!
-
WARN is the way to go man! they cost a little more but everything FITS unlike some other brands. Go a little bigger than you think you need, also put a circuit breaker inline between the winch and the battery so you don't smoke any wiring. It can get pretty hot....
-
Welcome! got any snow there? want some? we have plenty....
-
I've been looking for a seat pan for months! they're just not out there. If Honda had put a couple drain holes under there this would not be a problem...
Prob should cover that before the foam wears out/falls apart. the foam is EXPENSIVE!
-
excellent site Bot! that should be a sticky!
-
I have one just like it.
You can buy a seat cover on ebay for 39.95 but check your seat frame- the way these rigs were built the seat frames rust out really badly. Mine is so ructed that I'm gonna have to punch holes in the bottom of the new cover and lace it on underbeath like lacing boots... There is no metal laft to attach it onto. We'll make it work...

AWESOME! Honda manuals are hard to find!
-
I think Rocky Mountain ATV lists the bolt patterns with their wheels. Anyone who sells tires and wheels will have this info. good luck
-
may not be the original switch for that.... manual time!!
-
was the left wheel off the ground at the same time? if so, you may need a RH axle- it should be smooth like the LH was. it might drag some cuz you're turning the gears, but it should be smooth.
Like on a FWD car, when the CV joints start to go in the axle they make grinding or popping noises when you turn the wheels right or left. may not be noticeable when going straight.
My Accord goes 'clunk clunk clunk' when I turn left sharply- the warning sounds of an axle going out. Quads are no different.

go to the parts store and buy a thread file and carefully restore the threads. It takes patience! I have fixed a couple like this and saved them big bucks! My file is about 6 inches long, square and has 8 different thread pitches on it. It is a 'must have' in the bike tool box!
I think he's talking about the end of the crank... were the points in there or are they up on the head like the 90s?
the pullstart you should be able to find on ebay and if not, google around for 3 wheeler forums- there are several.

Since my meds have changed and I am far more familiar with the site, you might consider giving me another chance. You gave Buck Billy a second chance right?
I am far more mellow now. If you don't want me I'll understand. paul:wink:

I agree with gearhead, sounds like you are 180 degrees out.
-
OH. SORRY to hear that!
-
that's how dealers and machine shops do it. You may need to remove the engine so the machinist can get to it....
-
snowing here- got your firewood in? I still have to cover the tin teepee and check the antifreeze, bring on the hot toddies or cold beer!
-
you guys.....
when I was in High School, I used a slide rule, the calculator had not been invented yet. To me this is a fancy typewriter, so a lot of the geek stuff goes over my head at warp speed...please be patient with me! OK? hahaha
I have no idea what you were just talking about but it was well written!

charge the battery up.
unhook charger.
key OFF
unhook pos batt cable.
wait 20 minutes
reinstall batt cable.
should run.
just like rebooting your computer
blinking lines indicate a reboot is needed.

that's wild. I guess it's possible, but I have never changed a stator on a 660. never.
who knows- that could be it.
This is like doing surgery over the phone- it's almost impossible to diagnose/repair a patient when it is 2,000 miles away. All we can do is give people tips and try and lead them down a diagnostic path....
;p
