  1. i googled it and it said 6:6:1 but im not sure
  2. ohhh. when i got the manual it said turn it in until its snug then 1 1/2 turns out. you may want to turn out maybe 2 or 2 1/4 because of your elevation
  3. the stock jetting on a 94 blaster (what I have) is a 230 main jet and a 32.5 pilot jet. mixture as in oil to gas? if so a 32:1 is great
  4. ok. after going out on a ride with some friends and the blaster braking down, i had to borrow my friends 96 honda fourtrax 300 4x4. I LOVED IT. halfway through the ride i switched off with my friends big bear 400. i will probably get something of the sort for christmas. heres the problem. i cant choose! i love the handling of the all time 4x4 matched with the comfortable power of the 300cc's. i love the power of the big bear and the on command 4x4 but its not the softest ride. i just need to choose one because it would be great to help around the farm with and to ride around the trails. dont hessitate to express your opinion
  5. did the wheels and tires erally cut down on the power?
  6. i was going to buy a whole new rim and everything so it doesnt really matter rim wise. just some cheap doglas rims
  7. i need some new tires. i ride a little grass, fields, hard-medium packed trails, gravel, street, sand and mud. i wouldnt worry about the sand and mud because of my current tires. just wondering what brand, size and price, would be best for my needs.
  8. well. there is a hole in the side of the carb and it looks like something screws into it.almost hit my dad riding around the trails. hes not to familier with the whole, going down a hill and stopping with someone flying bye at about 60.
  9. all adjusted and running greattt. so much more acceleration. just one question. where does the jet go? on the outside or the inside of the carb?
  10. we adjusted a screw on the top of the carburator alot.
  11. i think its just because we adjusted the chit out of all the screws and now we dont know where every thing goes
  12. goes with an idle. i think the tors has been removed. i think. we just need to adjust. ill start it up and it will rev to hell at about like 10,000rpms. it makes me hurt so i shut it off. any suggestions?
  13. there are 2 screws we found. one is on the top of the carb and it looks like it controls the throttle. there is another one on the side of the carb and i think it is the idle adjuster
  14. ok thanks alot. tons of other things to fix on the blaster today. give it a good wash and such
  15. here is some pictures of the carb. i hope these will help with the idle and the bogging
  16. castrol snowmobile oil. im pretty sure it wont make a difference. it starts on the 1-3 kick and it has no idle and when i start going, it bogs alotttt until i get into 2nd gear and start really ripping it.
