  1. Didn't anyone tell ya?.....They're both vegetarians! Ha Ha,just kiddin'....sounds like a great time!
  2. Yeah this a a great site, most have a great sense of humor. That's actually what drew me to this place...more laid back and fun. Anyway welcome and enjoy!
  3. Sooooo....it should be final! Congrats to the bride and groom!:cheers2c:
  4. Here's an 80's hair band young 'un:biggrin: It's funny looking back on these videos...how corny! but the music is still good...it's what us old guys grew up listening to! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rqA55ynPoU]YouTube - Ratt - Lay It Down[/ame]
  5. Well I don't have a video but I'm surfin' the forum, suckin' some suds, and pumpin' some RATT (80's hair band) into my skull with the ol' Bose headphones. I like most 80's rock, southern rock, some of the newer rock, and country. Just kinda depends on my mood! For those of you who have never listened to music through a pair of Bose headphones you don't know what you're missing...these things rock!:coolgleamAc:
  6. I agree BB that a clutch kit will unlock hidden potential but the same can be said about upgrading exhaust, air intake, carb, and many other things that can up the performance on a machine. I don't think any machine in stock form is giving all that it's able to.
  7. I use to be dead set against anything with the rubber band. Back in '03 I was shopping for a new machine and rode them all. I liked the Popo's the best but went with the Honda Foreman anyway because it had the semi auto. A short time later my dad traded his little Honda Fourtrax 2x4 for a 400 Polaris Sportsman. We rode side by side mile after mile and trip after trip. He could out run my 450, go places I couldn't, it was WAY better in the mud,and it also rode WAY better. I had always heard these horrible stories about the Popo's being junk because of the belt, that machine never one time faultered. Well needless to say the machine changed my mind about the dreaded rubber band! I agree with Buck though, I don't see Honda ever going to the belt system. I'm not bashing Honda, I think they're a great quad but that 400 Popo proved to me that the rubber band was ok! Kinda like ol' Ron Popiel, "set it AND...forget it".
  8. Thanks for the help everyone. I'm going Monday to get an injection, I'm praying it'll help atleast alittle bit. I just got back from running a few unavoidable errands and MAN do I friggin' hurt! The pain got so bad on the way back home that I had to pull over and stretch out in the back seat of the truck for about 20 minutes to let the pain settle down! I'm scared of surgery but I'm at the point now that I'd let one of ya'll cut me open if you said you could fix me! This insanity must stop!
  9. Hey dd! Glad you had fun at St.Joe, not a bad place to ride and really don't take too long to get there! We have gone several times and always have a great time! I like it because there is a good variety of terrain. The picture I have posted in the photo contest was taken there. I can't ride right now due to back trouble but when I get healed up maybe we could hook up and go down there!
  10. Thanks for the repiles gentlemen! I was just curious as what to expect as I'm alittle nervous. John I guess maybe I'm not quite as bad off as you where from what you describe. I don't hurt while laying but it hurts pretty bad if I walk for very long and rides in my truck are almost unbearable! My pain is low in the back and left as* cheek and hip. I also have a slight numbness in the left side of my left foot. Anyway I figure it's worth a shot (no pun intended) before I decide on surgery. I won't lie, the thought of surgery scares the livin' $hit out of me but I also know I can't spend the rest of my life like this either.......This sucks!
  11. Hey all I was wondering if any of ya'll ever had to get Cortisone injections in the lower back. I finally got my MRI results and I have a herniated disc (L4-L5) and the doctor is recommending the injections. I've been researching on the web but I see alot of mixed comments so I'm not sure what to believe. I figured maybe someone here could give me the low down. 1. Does it hurt and for how long? 2.DOES IT WORK and for how long? 3.any side effects? 4.would you have it done again if the situation arose or would you seek different treatment? I've had severe pain for about a month now pretty much keeping me on my stomach unable to do much. The pain meds are getting old and really not working like they did at first. I need some relief! I can't even ride my Popo!
  12. Sounds like some kind of fuel problem. The dealer said it's one of the best cold starters ever and then when it warms up it acts up. Sounds like it's staying partially choked or as "bot" said maybe jetting. I seen a guy a few weeks back with a Polaris Scrambler and it was doing EXACTLY the same thing and it came out of no where. He took the carb of and ended up finding a friggin hay seed of all things stuck at the fuel inlet of the carb. Got it out of there, put it back together and it ran great!
  13. Marriage brings a new meaning to your birthday spankings....enjoy!
  14. Nice! I like the Camo one in the ad at the top. I don't get this though...."industry-exclusive all-wheel downhill engine braking."..... My popo has the same thing so it can't be an industry exclusive. Oh well really nice ute. I wanna ride one!
  15. I thought the '08 was an 800cc and the '09 was the 850 cc but yes the '08 sportsman is a nice ride!
  16. Sounds pretty mean but I like the look of both the Rhino and the RZR better.
  17. Well we want pictures of the wedding AND the honeymoon! We also want cake!
  18. If I remember right the Tecate was one mean mother!
  19. You both love to ride, are going to have any type of riding theme or festivities incorperated into the wedding? It would be cool to leave the church in the ol' Rhino with beer cans draggin' along behind!
