  2. Some of the 80s quads were built like tanks and still run perfect without a rebuild. Some of the stuff built in the last 10 years is junk and won't last 10 years. Really depends.
  3. You have to know when to hold them and when to fold them. If the repairs are approaching 75% of replacement value, I would say its time to part it out or sell as a project
  4. Do you have a hand vacuum pump, I always like to check mine after a rebuild and make sure they can hold atleast 5 lbs of vacuum
  5. Do you have a way to hook an air compressor up to the cylinder? Leakdown test is the best way to know for sure.
  6. My recommendation is start with a smaller quad and get comfortable with it before getting something bigger like a 700cc
  7. Some states require a title and some do not title offroad vehicles. In those states Bill of Sale is all you need.
  8. Hows the compression? 100+ psi?
  9. good point
  10. I would start with something smaller like a Honda Recon 250cc then build up to a 400cc
  11. Had mine up to 55-60mph
  12. Sounds like bad head gasket
  13. Just bout a 1987 Honda Foreman 350xx 4x4. Love this thing. It can tow anything. Built like a tank
  14. This is a great site
