  1. i follow rules, but i see nothing about limits here, nor did i get any warnings of any kind You can do whatever you want to, its your site, but its bullshit that you're imposing a punishment on me for rules you don't even have posted.
  2. Well I didnt know there was a limit, and I have a project that is a frankenstein (it contains parts from several makers) so I did try to look into a few. I just wanted to look, but thats apparently not an option. I have not been able to download 1 thing from this site. If there are limits, you should mention that where you mention needing 10 posts to download, and I should still be able to download something today.
  3. lol thanks, it looks great from far away, but not up close
  4. nice, if i cant fix mine im chopping it up for golf cart parts. lol
  5. It says I now have 20 posts and still I cant download anything. I guess I have to just go buy the book somewhere. At first i was happy to find this site, but now Im not too sure about it.
  6. its banged up and has cracks in plastics, racks are dented and bent, really its worth more to me as parts for the golf cart if I cant get it to run. Ill be saving a fortune! im disabled so im on a lowwww budget. lol
  7. Im rick, and im new here. I just got a Bayou 220 for $125. It locks up after a few rounds, Im pulling the motor now to see wtf. It didnt rattle or knock when it fires a few short times and it cranks and cranks with the starter before it locked up again. Ill know more tonight, but I actually bought it for the wheels to upgrade a G1 golf cart but if I can fix it, Ill keep it a bike, otherwise it gets cut up and merged with a golf cart. I have a larger bayou rear axle merging with a honda shadow vtwin 1100cc shaft drive bike and and yamaha golf cart. I am building "Frank" or "Frankie" the monster cart with around 10 to 12 inch and 26's. I like building modified toys especially when its done and it works, and doesnt cost me a fortune! lol I can weld and all that crap, been a mechanic all my life, I fix sh**!! Im just disabled now and not as pliable as I was 20 years ago. I still fix sh**, just takes me longer now with health and age, and Im on a low budget now. Good thing I have tools to do things myself or I'd be forced to be a couch potato. Anyway, thanks for letting me join. I have already read lots of cool threads and cant wait to show more pics of my progress
  8. I have 15 posts and it still says Im not permitted to download its banged up and has cracks in plastics
  9. it was out of oil when i got it i tried to dl a manual here, it doesnt let me trying to figure out which side to start pulling bolts from
  10. i found a full parts diagram and now im getting ready to buy a manual
  11. well i actually bought it for salvage, to use parts off it for a golf cart, but if its no big deal, ill just fix it and keep it for my nephew, otherwise it becomes a golf cart. lol when it fired this morning it didnt clank, clunk, or knock. it sounded good to me til it stopped abruptly. back up the crank and itll go again a few seconds before locking up again
  12. i got a 90 bayou 220 and it was locked turning forward but free turning backwards. i turned it back and its been free. i been cranking it with electric start and it fired for a few seconds before it locked up again, and still turns backwards easy. i just pulled the motor out and getting ready to open it up. if its not worth fixing then im gonna cut it up and use parts on a golf cart

  14. nice, i need to learn how to dye vinyl some day
  15. Today the Bayou 220. Tomorrow the world!

  16. I just picked up a non-running 220 that I can get to fire and will run for a few seconds and then locks up. It came that way and I turned the crank reverse a full turn or so and then pulled the rope and it fired a few times and locked again. I got it in my shop now, stripped down the bike and gonna pull the motor and have a peek in it tonight
  17. we have salvage yards here where Ive been getting used parts
  18. Im new on the site and making my introduction with this. Im Rick and I just bought a 91 bayou 220a for $125. Its been treated rough but is still complete and functional with the exception of not being able to run long before it locks up. I Have to manually turn back the crank to get it to fire again. I didnt hear any knocking or anything, it sounded good til it locked again. Im getting ready to pull and crack the case open and have a peek.
  19. @oxidized_black Any chance you still have the 220 and 360 manuals? I gotta pull a motor and open it up on the 220 and Im building a monster out of a partial 360
