  1. What color was the smoke do you remember?
  2. Yep some good camera skills there. I tried getting one of Allison like that and every photo was just Fail.
  3. Are you getting any use out of the plow. We still have all rain down our way.
  4. Did you flood it? You don't look too covered in mud.
  5. Does smoke come from the exhaust when it runs? I agree it isn't good to leave gas in the oil. I would change it with some cheap stuff until you find the root of the problem. Because gas seperates from the oil I changed my oil a few times and monitored it. I also let the machine warm up and mix the oil with the gas before I drained it.
  6. I have not been to Centralia in a while.
  7. Thats the best part once she is all back together and good as new! Have fun out there and be safe.
  8. Nice Kitty.
  9. I would do a compression test first. Another trick is to change the oil and note exactly how much oil you added, then drain the oil into a sealable see thru container and watch the gas float on top of the oil. This way you can measure how much gas is getting by. I did this every time I changed something. When there was no gas seperated on the top I knew I had the problem solved.
  10. Try these, I never rode down your way but it looks fun. Cheaha Trail Riders - Future of Off-Highway Vechicle Trails in Alabama MaD MotorSports Shoals ATV Riders, Inc. Southern Ridge ATV Trails
  11. That's alot of snow. Nothing here so far.
  12. You are going to love the king quad. Welcome. .
  13. Welcome to QC I am jealous you ride in Flordia. Ever been over to the redneck yacht club?
  14. If You already checked the float. I would make sure the overflow drain on the carb is not blocked. Also clean your air filter, with a blocked filter you can be running rich. Are you changing the oil? I used some cheap wet clutch safe oil and changed it after every ride while I was trouble shooting. In my case it ended up being a dirty carb. The other causes could be a suction from the intake created by trailering the quad lifting the float in transport but if you have a fuel pump that will only allow a small amount of gas into the cylinder. Also be careful not to hydrolock the piston if the excess gas compresses above the piston. If its hard to cranks just pull the plug and blow everything out by turning it over.
  15. Someone is up early! Good Morning.
  16. Welcome to quadcrazy.
  17. Thanks, You need to check out there new place, I don't think it is too far for you.
  18. Well it's another Monday. Good Morning.
  19. Ya the guy ahead of me tried to take a sport quad thru. He didn't make it but helped break some of the ice.
  20. Ya with a great group of guys, that was taken almost 5 years ago.
  21. I only drove one twice, this was the secound time the first being at Rock Run. Handeling and power are great but I am not sure how they will hold up in the rough stuff. I am doing research on them now and might have one sitting in the shop by spring.
  22. I am not a big fan of relocating the rad. I liked it alot better the way I had it set up before. But tearing off all of the plastics in between races was killing me so I chose to move it up top. I had to laugh today as I needed a ladder to fill the coolant after changing a hose. The key to snorkeling is to take your time and dry fit everything. Alot of thought has gone into my new setup such as dual 2" air intakes for the carb and drains just incase I lean the ATV on its side.
