  1. I had to pull the hub off to replace the mag coil, and everything seem nice in the hub components. The strap was still binding all the components together. Didn’t seem like anything was missing or worn. I attached two manual pics that say the wheels won’t engage if the rear wheels don’t lose traction. Not sure how to test that other than going up a slippery hill and waiting for the rear the break lose?
  2. I replaced a bad coil. I get 12 volts coming out of the wiring harness, but the coils don't activate. What else could be causing the 4x4not to engage on the front wheels?
  3. I use Rubber Renew anytime I want to renew rubber. It gives rubber back it's flexibility
  4. here's a trick. Put a piece of tape around your throttle, and another piece o the handle bar. Next, mark out idle, 1/4, 1/2 , 3/4and full throttle with a marker on the tape. With the bike running, make the throttle go to each position. You will then know which jet is incorrectly jetted. The bike'sgas is metered by different overlapping jets in the carb. You need to figure out what position you are running lean on, and then richen it up one jet or two sizes up.
  5. I bought some NICHE CV boots recently, and didn't like the size of the boot. The kit came with two boots, and one was the wrong size.
  6. The last little 50cc i worked on, had the throttle limit screw. Great idea for kids. make sure to look for it
  7. If you lean for something big, ie125cc, check if it has screws to block the throttle, so you can limit speed and craziness!

  9. I find it funny that suzuki put so many engines into artic cats sleds and quads, but never made their own snowmobile.
  10. I tested the stock OEM coil, and got 25ohms. But even after applying voltage, I cant get anything to magnetize to the coil Does anyone have a way of testing the 4x4 on-demand coil?
