  1. LOve Squirrelhunting...Go to sleep before daybreak close to a Beach tree...wake up and knock his"Body" in the dirt. Damn Fox squirrels are big and good but hard to skin.
  2. Deer Hunters///??? LOL. Give me a Big ole squirrel or a hog any day. Squirrels will come down a scold you (ever seen a squirrel dog? that's how they work) so the machine probably does not matter BTW Grandma does not like shotgun bb's .... use my rifle
  3. Personally, I prefer and have less trouble with LED lights.. Observe polarity when wiring ...No socket to corrode as You pointed out. Trailer wiring problems ? Yes... however, two tailers i have worked on were not factory wired. The other two were factory wired. One was just old and abused. The other a victim of just dragging the trailer though rough terrain, barnyards and corn fields probably explained wiring failures. Most common wiring problems are BAT (-) connections.
  4. I expect we will see more wireless trailer lights as Wirig is normally the failure.
  5. BTW....Amazon sells (~$40.00) a wireless trailer light kit. Completely wireless. Brake and turn signal lights Transmitter plugs into vehicle trailer receptacle. Lights magnetically attach.
  6. How rusty is fuel tank? I would expect that the fuel petcock / Strainer could be removed /replace if dirty. My '92 KAW SAT FOR YEARS I had to epoxy cote the tank as he rust was plugging the carb jets.
  7. Yeah know what you are saying....I used to go to what was know as the premiere Chinese's restaurant in town. They got busted for serving cats!
  8. Like I said I don't do indigenous delicacies ....The water is the main culprit. However, When I went to the job they wanted me to do it was on a Friday. The women brought in something like fried chicken and rice for their menfolk and ME ( I felt so humble that they would do that) for lunch. I ate it as I did not want to offend them. The workers smoke Mary Jo and keep on working...Damn! I had some Black Rum when i got back to the Hotel.
  9. Gud Mawning Montego Bay, Jamaica...That is the only Patma I am good at.. Montego bay area is beautiful.. Took a Taxi ride tour of Island. Beautiful, very embryonic but quaint area and people. All very hospitable and laid back. Taxi driver and I drank beer all afternoon. He also had some Mary Jo...I don't do drugs except alcohol..LOL Delayed departure as I picked up a local service call ( some body found out I was here...LOL $$$) I went bike riding with some locals I met . I do not drink local water and I am cautious about strange foods even in the USA. I have had Moctezuma's Revenge before. Although I could aford to lose a few pounds.
  10. With my trailer for use with my SXS and my Foreman i want to convert the trailer lights to just flashing when i tow it on roads. It probably would be nice to not use SXS or ATV 12 vdc power...Just thinking any ideas? The lights ae LED's
  11. I am going to just use it here in the woods. Unbelievable poor design. However. I am limited to 30 lbs hitch wt one Foreman so I can manage that with tis trailer. The Yamaha 700 can toe it also
  12. Oh yeah...To say it was some guys wet dream would be a compliment...(Had to pick on guys)...LOL!!!
  13. What is the expected amp draw from that starter?...I would guess it's 20 amps at least.
  14. Ok here is the light trailer I picked up some months ago....What's wrong with this picture??!!! the hitch is on the wrong end! OMG! Even with the mechanical winch on the tongue it has negative tongue weight. I could not tow it without having more than 100 lbs at front of trailer as it would 'fish tail'. But it has brand new LED lights (Wiring is Neanderthal vintage) and new axle, rubber, and bearing " buddies". It also has a release so the bed will tilt down for drive on loading. I am going to somehow make the lights just flash so if i tow it on the paved road on way to back property. I want to carry mower to use to clear some trails.
  15. Speaking of which My old neighbor would start his Big John Deere Diesel and let it run for 15 minutes in the summer before he would move it.. During cold weather maybe 20 5 minutes. He said it was better to get it up to temperature. I star my VW sand rail and let him run for at east two minutes before moving. I try to do the same with most vehicles.
  16. I like nice boxes at the hitch area for termination on larger trailers with brakes. The seven pin connector with cord can be terminated in this box. Boxes will come with teriminals for the lights and brakes. Makes TSng easy. Electrical Cord Connectors with metal Chinese stress relief at the boxes for seven pin cord as well as trailer wiring. provides a great installation. I also bring out BAT(-) from that box and lug (1/4 X 20 bolt) to trailer frame at hitch area as well as other places on trailer frame. I like to tin BAT (-) wires and loop around GND bolts instead of terminals .... With that done you can kick back and think about the poor girls at the Office!
  17. Goood Morning Cayman Islands...Wow the Night life on the Grand Cayman's is fast. Then sleep on the beach t get ready for the night. Check out the sting rays and turtles. seven mile beach !
  18. Hot Looking... Except the light trailer I will hook him up to looks like kind of trashy...LOL i send a pic
  19. Yes...worked out easily......And .I had the two Balls , Naturally one of my trailers is tow inch and another is 1 7/8 "....
  20. Added the receiver hitch. Here is pic with ball installed. The max tongue weight is 30 lbs. 850 towing weight. Foreman really looks studly with hitch!...🥰
  21. I have used Seafoam in carbs for long term storage and in fuel tank when I thought valves were sticking...
  22. Got my new receiver 2 inch hitch from Amazon.
  23. Can you carry brass knuckles etc?
  24. OK ...so the club's wisdom was good...BTW...of the 94K miles I only put thee last 30K miles on him.
