OPen carry! I don't open carry...of course I have Concealed carry Permit...You will never see my gun until you see the flash from the muzzle. Fla 'carry ' allows for carry of other weapons...I have a steel baton and a blade in my sleeve. The trouble in Florida is I dont have much on to be able to conceal

My Kaw concours had a 7.5 gal tank. I added 1 ounce.

Some Truck MFG Trailer controls Send a millivolt signal out to the brake circuit. The control looks for a milliamp load at all times to verify the trailer is there. If it does not see that amperage load the control sends a warning that the trailer is not there! Some electric brakes or Hydraulic over electric brakes may have enough electrical resistance to produce the milliamp load. Others may not and require a parallel load across the brake circuit; i.e., brake power (12 vdc when energized) to Bat (-).
-
BTW ...ilearned from experience that MFG installed trailer brake controls can be tricky to wire. The std wiring as shown will not work per se as an additional Parallel brake circuit is required.

Wow....That is a nice reciever hitch set-up. I'll need to look for that.. BTW the Winch rating os based on using the mechanical advantage of the block.

Ok....Here is a question; My Kawasaki Concours (1992 so it has four (4) air sucking behemoth carburetors) has a 7.5 gal fuel tank. The Club wisdom was to add 1 ounce of two cycle oil to ever fill up......HMMMmmmmmm? good idea? BTW my concours has 94K miles on it....just saying

So Awesome...Great pictures...So did you did not return to your camp tent at night...? stayed on the trail? Nice Artic Cat machine...My cousin was a corporate attorney for Polaris...He liked Artic Cat. They have recently took back the company. Did you carry a gun? In Fla especially in some of the larger forrests like Ocala there are people who live in camps hidden in the forest. They can e druggies and trouble. The Governor DeSantis is cleaning them out but I am always scared about those types of people....I Carry! Its legal in Fla.

WOw! Unbelievable pictures...How did you refuel? What river is in the one picture? Love the trailer tent..Was that bought or made...Looks nice.

I have an open mesh motorcycle jacket with built in crash panels. It's cool and you can barely see through it from the side...LOL.
-
Wow I like that...I wonder if it is available in open mesh panels for Florida/

I only use bean coffee. Tim Hortons of course, I have a Burr grinder that is very loud but has consistent grind, I think. At the cottage I have a blade grinder. I have to watch consistency of the grind with it. However, it's OK.

great...wires different color? You found it

HMMMM...I would think that the motor starter would draw 20 amps normally. However, fuse blowing when bat connected is a fault condition. We are assuming polarity is correct Bat + and Bat -..
-
BTW having walked in "HeaD scratcher' fuse blowing problems. One thing I look for is extraneous wires! I am looking for something some added. You can tell as the "extraneous" wires will be a different color from the OEM wiring. The "added circuit" cam be the culprit. Good example is people adding alarms to cars etc
-
Hmmm....20 amp fuse??/where was that fuse mounted? I.E., Protecting what circuit?
-
yes getting everything back to OEM spec's is alwaysn a good thing and makes TSng easier

An easy test is the BLUE FLASH test. If I had a component that I thought was grounded /or shorted I would remover wire and touch a live wire to the component terminal.. A big Blue flash meant it was at fault . a tinkle arch was normal...That is from the "RESET AND RUN" technician's handbook...LOL
-
Imisssed something...Did he isolate the stARTER Solenoid and the fuse did not blow? But with the solenoid wired it did Blow? One needs to prove the Fault,

I stayed a couple nights at a huge NATO work compound in Croatia until I could get a Hotel. They had " Nuked' milk and cream that did not have to be Refridgerated that i kept in my room for coffee. However now I inly drink Black Coffee.

Yes McD's coffee is good...if i buy coffee that's the one i look for. A friend claims that McD's coffee is Tim Horton's coffee. Not sure about that. But taking the coffee off as soon as it is finished makes it better.. I think McD's does that.

Goood Morning Guatemala.... I stayed at a condo complex Compound. Very nice area. Took a trip back in the jungle to the Mayan ruins it was a 6 hour drive...Got stopped 10 times by police checking our car. We had a security guy for driver. It was beautiful....Hot Humid. but stayed at a resort one night swam in lake there....That's another story OMG Nobody entered the compound unless they had credentials or reason to be there. It had security guys who were great (handsome) and went with me to a nightclub one night. The security guys were kind of Camera shy but I got one picture of them. The locals were super friendly and kind. Great people.

America and Canada is the only place to drink coffee. In Europe (the continent ) i could never get American coffee ..they called drip coffee. In the morning they did have expresso that was watered down. The rest of the day it was expresso....AGGHHHH! In Mexico (my Mexican is not that good) they would ask if I wanted Cafe Leche? Yes coffee with cream. They took Taster's Choice instant coffee ( i found out later) and poured in hot Carnations Milk...NO water....OMG! Actually it wasn't bad. Tim Horton's Coffee is my favorite.
