I have a large padded "air travel " rifle case. I think I can easily strap it to the front rack. It is ridged and supports the scope. Also it is water resistant. I have some camoflage netting I used duck hunting. I think that would be a nice cover for the Foreman. Its not water proof.

OK The next dumb question: what type of gasoline containers are best to carry on Foreman. I am thinking a one gallon emergency supply mounted on the front rack. The Moose is big enough but I worry about spilling gas in there. I expect to carry Gasoline on my tailer for evening refills when I am back at camp.
-
Oops...never thought about that....Yes mirrors probably best. I have been riding today with the Moose. I think I will install some removal foam Blocks inside to reduce vibration. I have been using my full face motorcycle helmet maybe the ATV helmets are better. I should meet some ATV riders later this month on a trail ride.

Thanks, You know I have difficulty seeing behind me when backing up. Has anyone installed a camera just for that. It would allso be nice when riding to see the guys behind you.

The u bolts were nickel plated. I used SS bolts and acorn nuts. Thinking about padding or something inside to hold stuff. It's big inside. It will hold two helmets just in case I get lucky...LOL

I got the Moose rear "storage/seat mounted on my new Honda Foreman. The install package came with four (4) 'Ubolts, & water sealing washers. However te Forman had plate steel rack in the front of the rear rack and tubular rack at the back. I had to drill holes two (2) 5/16 in for the plate steel area. I used 5/16 nuts with 1 1/2 washers (to spread the load on the plastic Moose bottom. I used the 'U' bolts with garden hose to stop rattling and shifting on the back two supports. I used Flex Tape washers to seal the 5/16 bolts and the provided water sealing wshers on the back. All bolt heads were capped with Acorn nuts an ;Blue' thread lock.

Yes I have 14 awg & 10 awg stranded THHN CU and of course 12 w gnd Romex (solid of course). Tempted to use Romex cable but terminal connections are difficult to look good with solid.
-
Gotcha...What size 10 awg from bat? Did you run a separate Bat(-) or just use frame gnd?

Thanks, I want to put an electrical connector in the bed of my 2018 tundra for a cooler.

Yes you are right about the Igloo being a power hog.. Grandma's works well especially if you put in a freezer before using it. Its good traveling keeping sandwiches , cheese milk cold ---I don't drink beer..LOL. I marked the connector "UP" so people would not put it in wrong. But i am looking at the compressor units for her. However, I may look for a different connector in the car...I hate those cigarette lighter plug connectors.

Thanks...her Christmas Present...One of them LOL She buys a couple lambs, usually 4-H lambs, butchered and frozen from Butcher shops. There are no butcher shops on the peninsula Florida; so she orders from Ohio and W VA slaughter houses.. She I (and I) drive up to visit family and bring lambs back to Florida. She's happy and I love lamb.

I have the Igloo12 vdc cooler that is a few years old but works great. No temp setting gets very cold but not freezing. Grandma wants a 12 vdc freezer for her car. What mfg is best....small to fit in her car.

My first trailer project.

Yeah you are right about the break away...I did not provide for that circuit. In addition, With My single axle Electric brakes I had to parallel an incandescent trailer License plate light with the electric brake circuit just to have enough circuit resistance to let the Tundra Mfg Trailer control know that the brakes are there (Trailer disconnected connected alarm). With that the brakes work fine. The truck mfg trailer brake control has a manually adjustable "Gain" for the braking function depending on load. The paralleled light comes on whenever the brakes are applied. Without that load when brakes are not engaged I would get a "trailer Disconnected alarm". If I had Hydraulic over electric brakes (that is another setting on the mfg brake control) the pump motor load probably would not necessitate additional resistance. -
I know a lot of guys as they age who just retire from life. You guys are amazing....I am less risky...Chicken s---. I do more controlled fun things....But Oh yes, I did a "Barrel Roll" in a T-33 Shooting Star. Stick control. Bring nose up pulling back gently and as the nose comes up to cross the horizon bring the stick over gently toward my right knee and over and around we go....experienced pilot in the Cockpit behind me...Cockpit! LOL. I have to say, I am impressed with the technical knowledge shared by the guys on this website. It's over my head sometimes but WTH!

An honest man..! But not giving up! I am impressed with you guys! I did 8 laps at Daytona (145 mph) , soloed in a Cessna 172., trouble shoot 480 vac ( 600 vac some places in Canada) But i am chicken, I do not down hill ski ...I am good at sitting in the lodge. I just cannot afford to be laid up with an injury. (That's my excuse...LOL)

I need to mount a long gun case on Foreman...Probably need to position it so brambles ad tree limbs don't hit it. Any Ideas?
-
I want to put along gun case on Foreman (ATV). I have several plastic "air travel " cases and a couple lighter cases. I would like to see what others have done.
-
OMG ..Downhill ski? I stayed just up the road atop a hill from a ski lodge one winter....I watched the ambulances go back there in the evenings☺️ as I sat beside the fireplace with some bourbon.

Yes you are right...I have a 7 pin connector as the trailer has electric brakes ...I installed them; really proud of that . But the LED center light has three leads bat(-) and a bright light lead and a less bright lead. I should have thought and wired the bright light (brake light) lead to my electric brake circuit...Brain dead sometimes..OMG 😵💫 -
you need to a Camera too.

I like his poooffy white hair! Prematurely Gray! That video camera is a great idea. Does he need a sign that says Caution Video camera ? LOL

Well showing you, your camera and the Cam Am would be like an intro shot
