The irs takes a bit to get used to. Jumping is not bad at all, but going over whoops, the rear end likes to kick back up on you. Sliding is a whole new animal cause the outside tire grabs . I've only lost to a highly modified yfz450. As a whole I'd rate it an 8 out of 10. Flying on the trails takes a little body english but its a blast! Good deals on them are getting hard to find. Honda stop making them after the '09 model. I highly recommend that you get one if your in the market for a 700.

I love it! The only thing i don't like is there is not much in terms of aftermarket parts for it. It's getting better, but no where near what the 450r has.

I own a Honda 700 and my friend owns the Yamaha 700. I like mine better because im used to it. But the Raptor is a beast. Both are stock and i pull on him alittle.

I use an '89 silverado. 5.7 auto, reg. cab long box 4x4
