After my daughter got her shin pretty good from hitting the foot peg trying to kick start her bike I got on it and let it roll down our driveway and popped the clutch. Later she ask how did you do that. I showed her she rolled it off and then she went to do it again a day or 2 later. She did almost everything right she looked at me confused and ask why didn't it start. She held the clutch in the whole time. Last night she went down for the first time she used ATV brake style she pulled in the clutch and front brake and for got the rear brake and it had been raining so the front wheel slide.

I got time to ride the ltz400 I just got. I pulled in the clutch lever to stop made the stop but the quad still pulls. There is no slipping when I let out the clutch it grabs and goes shifted easy till I pulled in the garage to park it at idle it didn't want stop moving or change into natural till the motor was turned off. I hope it just needs adjusted or nothing more then a clutch kit. ? Anybody used Tusk clutch kits? I seen Barnett for around 130.00 for the plates.

I am thinking about putting a twist throttle on my ltz400. Anyone have them on their quads and do you like it better than the thumb throttle. pros & cons

Heres the pics I hope I get to ride some today! The DRZ 125 is my daughters bike & the quad is my LTZ400.

The 07 Suzuki LTZ400 is in my garage. I think I got a pretty good deal. I will get pics of it posted Thursday I only rode it for about 15 mins. this evening we have been on the go all day. Its not a bad looking quad I got a few extras with it 2 sets of wheels & tires , motor oil, new helmet misc. gaskets, bearings, seals & a new timing chain. Its going to take a little time to adjust to how it handles from the utility quads.

I sold the Prairie 650 about 2 weeks ago and got my daughter a Suzuki drz 125 bike. Now I sold the 06 Foreman & now Im going to look at a Suzuki LTZ400 07 model later this morning. Its time for a change.

OX I added a 2006 Suzuki DR-Z 125L to the family today. Now we have the Foreman 500 & the Suzuki its the first time I have ever owned a Suzuki. I can still ride like you said Ill just miss the power of the 650 v-twin.

Thanks OX for the kind words! I went to look at a Yamaha today and the guy tried to feed me the biggest bs I think I have heard. Heres the laugh lines the front wheel wobbled it could be the spokes needing adjustment was my thought but he said it only wobbled on pavement and not on dirt. He said it was setup for a big bore kit and I was looking at the motor playing dumb and he said you cant see it because the parts are inside the motor and I would just have to buy the piston & rings to make it a 150cc from 125cc. So his lie was he had more or less a 150cc jug with a 125 piston & rings. The oil was filled to the tip top of the oil fill hole if you tried to add a tea spoon it would run over I didn't even ask to see what the story would be. I held back from what I wanted to say and was P Oed to drive an hour 1 way. But in the end I cracked up thinking about the bs he told.

My back got the best of me so I had not been riding much. A guy ask what I would take for my Prairie & I must have hit my head and low balled myself. He never jump at buying it before when he would ask so I thought he was joking. I Said 1200 he pulled out 1125 now I don't have a quad. My wife tried to make me feel good by saying you gave 1600 5yrs. ago and put a lot of miles on it. I can still ride my daughters foreman 500 and she wants a dirt bike so I am checking into a Yamaha ttr 125 or a Suzuki dr-z 125 for her.

Well got out for another ride but I cant get the gopro to link to my new computer for the video. Non video action was my wifes donut rollover the quad thank God stayed on its side and didn't roolover on top of her.

It was fun! We don't see snow too often it makes for easy donuts! but not good for doing wheelies

We got our first snow fall so my daughter & I took the quads out for some fun. Its the first time its snowed since owning atvs.
