When I said raise the needle valve that means you would have lower the snap ring one notch on the top of the needle valve to raise the needle valve.

If you have not run it for a while than I would clean the carburator to make sure it is not dirty.You could try and raise the needle valve one notch to see if there is a differance but tha is when you open te throttle.

No it is connected to the crankshaft that moves the piston when turned. If the teeth are missing then replace it.

Make sure you have the air filter on when checking your carb. That is why you have to block the carb intake because with the air filter on it is going to change the amount of air it will take in. try that before you do any more adjustments .

I had the same thing happen with my 2004 Artic Cat and it was in the top of the steering column. It was just below were the wires came out of the shield and the top of the steering stem. Look carefully at each wire because at first it was are to see but the more fuses I blew the bigger the black spot. Mine would blow when I turned my steering to the right.

Let's start at the tank shut off the petcock under the gas tank and remove the gas line that goes into the carb. With the line removed and a container at the end of the line open the petcock to make sure the gas is coming out of the bottom of the tank. If it is then put the line back on the carb. and go to the bottom of the carb and remove the drain plug on the bottom of the float bowl with a container to catch the gas coming out the bottom of the float bowl. Leave the petcock closed when you take the plug off the float bowl. If gas comes out empty the float then open the petcock to see if gasruns from the tank to the float bowl. If it does then you need to clean your carb.

Give us a little more information about what it does when you try to start it. Its a electrical problem and you are going to have to do some testing to figure it out. I assume it turns over when you start it. And you know your getting gas by the smell or by looking in the carb. Take your air box off and hold the palm of your hand over the inlet to the carb and feel if there is suction on your palm to see if your getting compression in the cylinder. Let me know!

Your float needle is not seating properly it is a small cylinder with a black rubber tip on the end of it. It is hooked to the floats with a wire loop. When the floats rise up they push the needle float closed and that stops the gasoline coming in from the tank. Sometimes you can tap on the side of the float bowl with a rubber hammer and that will seat the needle float otherwise you are going to have to take the float bowl apart and make sure it is connected properly.

Sounds Like the relay is bad. Put a multimeter on the relay and see how many volts is going into the relay should be 14. Then put the multimeter on the starter and turn the starter over and see how many volts you are getting to the starter should be the same as at the relay. If not could be bad relay or wiring conection.
