2005 Suzuki King Quad 700 Idle Issue

i have a 2005 700 kindquad when i start it up and try driving it for the first 1/4 of the throttle it will quit it revs up and down and seems boggy after it driving for 20 min it seems to get better but after i come home and park it for say 10 min and start it it dose it again anyone have any ideas what could be the problem

Could be an air leak in the intake, could be an ignition problem, could be some crap stuck in your carb, could be that the valves need adjusting. I would probably start by checking the valve lash and checking for any air leaks. Then I might move to the carb if you are still having problems. Hard to diagnose a problem like that without being there to see what is happening. I would also recomment getting a repair manual, there will be helpful troubleshooting info in there, tests to check your ignition components and valve clearance specs and adjustment procedures.

Yes, it should be FI.

Have you checked your air filter?

They're right, it is FI. That opens up a whole lot more potential problems. Could still be related to an air leak, or valves being out of adjustment, but there are several sensors that could be causing your problem too. First, make sure everything is plugged in tight, and check the sensor in the airbox, it is a temp sensor, make sure it is clean. There is a thottle position sensor on the side, that could be giving you problems, there is also an air pressure sensor that connects to the throttle body via a hose, I wouldn't rule that out either.

      2005 Bruin 350cc Oil pumping into airbox

      Hi guys. I have a problem where the quad will start and run well for about 5 minutes and then it dies. On inspection the airbox has oil in it (quite a lot). The oil is pumping through the cylinder head breather hose. This problem first happened suddenly. I have since done the top end including, piston, gaskets, rings and valves. I have also done the carb (not that I thought that this was the problem). The compression seems normal. The only thing that I can think of, is that I did not grind the valves well enough. Anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? Any other thoughts?

      Hello i have a 2005 Bombardier Outlander max xt 400, i recently split the case to fix a oil leak. while in there i took out the oil pump and i cant find the torque specs for the oil pump to go back in, i tend to over tighten everything so im trying to go be the torque specs so i dont break anything.

      This is something I'm extremely curious about. Has anyone ever attempted to buy a quad (or any other vehicle) from an impound lot? I've always wondered if this could be a bargain, or a waste of time. Google searches do turn up some helpful results. Looks like the state of NJ holds auctions online which I'd be a bit hesitant about.
       
      My online searches haven't really turned up any results of anyone buying an ATV this way. I'd be really curious if anyone tried this, or knows someone who has. I've actually found a couple pages with online auctions for my state, but none had ATVs.

      Hello, what is the best method for installing bearings into their race? I've set one in place and tapped it down until it was metal on metal. Is that sufficient? Surely it's not supposed to go into the race until flush? Also. does the coil spring on the seal go into carrier bearing housing not facing out? Thanks! 🙂 Seal goes in until flush correct?
