I know none of you have these tracks, or if you do, you haven't said anything, but I made a video of installing the mounting kit, so for most, it's just FYI. Hope you enjoy it anyway ........ WHAT ???

Nice video and a great "How-To" for others who want to install tracks.

One comment, I noticed in the start of the video you have your machine suspended by the winch. This is not a good idea in case the winch brake gives out. I have had to use my winch to suspend my machine to work on it, but once winched, I use a few straps to hold it up and not rely on the winch to hold it up.

I plan on using my ATV to hunt. What have you found to be the best method for carrying your rifle that is secure and allows removing quickly to pursue an animal?

I randomly got the urge to rebuild my quad and seem to have lost my nuts and washers for mounting the head somehow. Has anyone replaced them with just some normal hardware from a local store and had luck? Really im just worried about the washer thickness and the depth of the acorn cap nuts.  I found some used sets on ebay but they want like 20+ dollars for em and then id have to wait for shipping aswell, trying to get it done before we get too much snow.
I am also just going to keep looking around as i know i have seen them recently, i just must have moved them to keep em safe one day and forgot where i stuck em.

I took this video back in 2007. Recently the trail (old railroad grade) I was riding was converted into a walking trail (obviously no more ATV riding on it) 👎 I dug up this old video and put it together since it shows the entire section and what it used to look like. The quality of the video is lacking, but this was from 18 years ago. Image stabilization didn't exist back then so I wore the camera on my helmet. (mounted to the quad was useless with all the shaking) so there is some annoying frames of me looking around. I noted any historical items from the railroad in the video. There is a section where the railroad grade is wiped out due to erosion so I had to jump off it and ride an abandoned road for a section to get around it.

Can you put tracks on manual atvs? would it be effective? is 280cc enough to even move them? thoughts/suggestions?

So I picked up a 1995 Yamaha warrior a while ago and it ran decent with quite a bit of power, I was able to wheelie like nobody’s business, but I noticed that the air filter box lid had bunch of holes drilled in the top and hole in the side, also the air filter itself was serving no function and there was a huge rip in it. So I got a new air box and new filter and when I installed it, the quad lost all power and acted like it was cutting out for split seconds at full throttle. For reference I think it was running rich before because it would backfire a lot so I think it’s just restricting air flow, but how would I adjust to that because I tried leaning out the carb as much as I could but it didn’t seem to do anything unless I put the other airbox lid on with the drilled holes.
any help would be much appreciated
Also even when I put the old lid on, it seemed like just the new air filter gave it enough restriction that it still wouldnt run right
