Thanks for the warm welcome guys!I'm located on the west central side;about 50 miles north of Terre Haute.I live in the country;but the closest town is called Cayuga.I've been riding on my folks property which is mainly woods and some pastures. There's a couple riding areas close to me(Mule Ridge&Badlands)but I've only been to Mule Ridge so far due to transportation issues.I got a truck in December but now need some longer ramps.I have both quads apart for upgrades and am waiting for weather above 40 to finish because the garage doesn't have any heat.Where are you at and where do you ride?

What's Mule Ridge like? On the map looks to be 2 1/2 to 3 hours away. Have a good one.

BuckBilly-Mule Ridge is the only riding area I've been to.I thought it was OK but I don't have anything to compare it to.It's about 1/2 hr from my house.I liked the fact the trails were labeled for difficulty level.I also liked there's no trucks or Jeeps allowed so it's a nice place to learn at.They also have spots labeled "mud" and "winch"and a couple semi-moto style tracks.Badlands is about 45 min from my house. After the weather warms up I'll check that place out.Downfour-That's crazy you mention Danville;that's the city I work and shop in.You don't work at Coultas do you?I know someone who works there that has a Rappy.I'd really like to join y'all that weekend in March but I have to work every weekend. If I have Easter Sunday off I might be able to get out.My normal days off are Tues and Wed.

Hi guys. I have a problem where the quad will start and run well for about 5 minutes and then it dies. On inspection the airbox has oil in it (quite a lot). The oil is pumping through the cylinder head breather hose. This problem first happened suddenly. I have since done the top end including, piston, gaskets, rings and valves. I have also done the carb (not that I thought that this was the problem). The compression seems normal. The only thing that I can think of, is that I did not grind the valves well enough. Anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? Any other thoughts?

My friends KQ 300 starts fine and runs, as soon as you put it in gear and try to accelerate its bucks and farts like crazy, not moving... I cleaned carb and it worked good for 1 day... now back to same problem.... could it be such as a bent valve????

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!

Have a 1998 AC 300 2x4, Just installed a new carburetor. Engine starts easy but the choke RPMs are very hi and take along time (5-10 mins when cold out). After engine has warmed up choke releases and it idles and runs fine., It does no have an electric choke. The choke lever is never used and it seems like an auto choke? Long story short, how can I lower the choke rpm levels?

Also, carb came with a spare145 jet, not 100% sure what is installed. Could this impact choke RPMs?

Any help and information greatly appreciated.
