That’s great, I think we all have that one neighbor who likes to blow shit up and play with 🧨

I will be on the bbq and having a few 🍻 as I get ready for my trip.

I am heading out Monday for a few weeks to the 🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴

I will be off the grid for a while and away from any technology.  looking foreword to it.

Catch up when I get back I’m sure.

We were sitting watching and its just amazing how much he lights off, big stuff too. I'm sure its expensive but he seems to love it every year. My sister was over with their dog and the poor dog was so freaked out from all the noise. BBQ all day (hot out) some Blue Moons and Margaritas was our day!

Enjoy what I'm assuming is an island trip? We'll look forward to some great pics @Frank Angerano !

Hope everyone had a nice relaxing day!!!

Sounds like a great time @Ajmboy it seemed like a very busy year for fireworks. My town literally looked like it had a heavy fog condition that’s how much smoke there was in the air.  We had stuff going off everywhere! Bbq 🍗 for sure and plenty of bud light and Coronas for mamma and some good company.

We are heading out Monday AM to the tropics for a while. Def post some pics when we get back.  Well deserved vaca!

Ok , this is what I’m going to try. Please tell me if I am doing it right ??? There a 4 wires.1 wire is heavier gauge. It’s solid red . I’m going on connect them together  . Then there are 3 lighter gauge wires  . 1 of them is red with a white line I am going to connect them together then there is a blue wire with a white line I’m going to connect them together . The last wire is a red one on the plug part and green on the atv harness should I connect these 2 wires together??? The color and gauge match on the other 3 wires . This is what I need to know ??? Its just that this  is the only wires left is a green one with a white line on the atv harness and a light gauge red wire on the plug part . Do I connect them ??? By the picture you sent me of the wire positions . The upper left wire is light gauge red wire with white line together . The lower left one is heavier solid red wire connect them together . Then the lower right is light gauge blue wire with a white line on it connect them together  . So far the colors match on harness and plug!!! Now what I am asking you is that leaves me with a light gauge red wire on the plug and a green wire with the harness it shows on the picture you sent me that the green wire goes to the upper right side of the plug but it is a red wire that is coming out of the plug. But I only have the green wire with the white line on it and it shows in the picture you sent me that the green wire goes to the upper right side I hope you understand this the color and position match on the other wires. The only one is red from upper right side of plug is light gauge red wire on the plug and a light gauge green wire on the harness. Should I connect the light red wire from the plug to the green wire from the harness ??? Let me know??? Please just say yes or no ??? Will I mess anything up doing this ??? Color, gauge and position all match on the other 3 wires. It shows that the upper right side is green but it’s a light gauge red wire from the plug but a green wire is the only one left from the harness to connect to the red wire coming from the upper right side . That is where it shows the green wire going the upper right side  . Let me know if I am right??? And will this mess anything up ??? Please let me know ASAP ??? Is this right ??? And will I mess anything up doing this ???

For those that have been pulling hair out-
It took me a month to figure this out, but I am glad to report that I have figured out how to repair my 2004 450ES Speedometer

If you have a Honda Foreman 02-04 450 ES model ( 4 indicator lights on top of meter)
or a Honda Foreman 99-00 450 ES model ( 3 indicator lights on top of meter)
      or aOnda Rancher 00-03 TRX350ES

      and your display:

      - Is Blank

      - does not show the gear indicator spot at all (not the gear or --) but the
backwards "L" that goes around the gear position - its just blank

-your miles and hours have reverted to zeros or all 9"s and possibly now shows KM now instead of Miles

-your speed shown seems to have almost doubled (possibly KMs per hour even thought it shows Miles)

What has happened is your EEPROM chip on motherboard has lost the programming due to dead battery for
a LONG time or an electrical malfunction etc...

I have borrowed a friends speedometer (a trusting friend) removed the chip from his, copied the data and put it on mine and it reads perfect now.

I can repair your speedometer it will have 1851 miles and 317.2 hours on it as that is the only copy I have for the 02-04 Foreman 450ES
I can also do 99-2000 450ES speedometers (3 indicator lights on top of meter) but will have to double-check check on the mileage/hours copy I have and let you know to see if you want that

I can also do TRX500FM and FE meters and the older Rancher 350ES meters as well but it has to have the above symptoms and not water damaged-caught on fire, cracked lcd, etc....

If you have one you want repaired just send to me (just the board with LCD) I can repair it for you for $45.00 or barter if you have a second bad meter for parts
Shipping would be 4 - $5.00 for First Class with tracking and I will pay return shipping
I will confirm and send pictures to you as well to show a working completed repair on your display
If there is heavy water corrosion, rust and rot damage etc.. its probably not repairable but I can try if you want -no fix-no pay
If you PM me or whatever we can work it out I am easy and like you all I am always fiddling/learning with wheelers
I think you will be happy and you will have more hair -mine is filling back in...................
      Message me if interested

I am now also doing burned out screen repair if your screen has become unreadable due to UV sunburn damage from the sun
It will appear burned or melted.
The cost is 45.00 with same or next day turnaround
Will do partial barter if you have a second speedometer for parts
      PM me if interested

Morning myself, my wife, son and stepfather and a few others head up to Jericho NH a couple times a year. It’s beautiful and we love it. Only issue is it’s4 1/2 hours away looking for places a bit closer. Maybe southern NH? My son and I love sand pits and wife and stepfather like the trails with views. W we register them in nh, but never had the need to in mass as we never found anything this way. if anyone has any suggestions please please let er rip. Either for the day, or if camping available, for a few days. thanks in advance.

This week, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) plans to outline proposed policy changes for ATV trails on state forest lands.  They will also be seeking public comment.
Pennsylvania has more than 260 miles of ATV trails in state forests. The department is reviewing its policy to respond to increasing demands for riding opportunities and well as interest from local governments in expanding tourism.
“The purpose of the policy is to provide guidance to DCNR when acquiring, developing and managing lands for ATV use by the public,” Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn said.
There had been a moratorium on new trail development, but the policy revisions now authorize DCNR to consider new ATV trails and connectors on state forest lands.
“New ATV trails will be considered, while still balancing the protection of natural resources as outlined in the Environmental Rights Amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution, and the needs of all types of recreational users on DCNR lands,” Dunn said.
In a 2016 survey of ATV users, more than 4,800 responded with many indicating a strong desire for more long-distance trails. Pennsylvania has around 285,000 registered ATVs. On state forest lands, ATV riding is allowed only on designated trails.
Public comment will be taken at a meeting in Harrisburg Wednesday, January 22, from 10 a.m. to noon in Room 105 of the Rachel Carson State Office Building. Written comments can be submitted to [email protected]
The deadline to submit comments is March 27.
More information about ATV riding is on the DCNR website.
