It's strange but I don't get much advertising. I'm a paid up member, but even before I was I never got much, nothing that I couldn't dismiss from the bottom of the page with a click of the mouse. If I sign out and come back as a guest I still don't get advertising, but, then, I'm using linux, so perhaps that explains it..  except.. I boot into windows ten, and I still don't see any advertising, no matter whether I'm signed in or a guest..

Perhaps there is some security setting or spam setting I've got right, or perhaps it's when people look in from their phone, which I haven't tried..  but for some reason, some of you sound like you get a lot more advertising that I do.

I reckon there will be a reason though..  Settings I suspect.

Yeah but if I log in as a guest I don't get advertising..  I use mozilla firefox.. for linux, or Win ten with er..  some gimmicky thing..  Edge I think it's called. As a casual visitor I don't get much advertising..

I have all my security settings set to not interact with the world automatically as much as possible. I'm an internet hermit..

When I first signed up I got a few ads, just one click and they go away and after being on for about 3 months started getting more, I was so used to just clicking them off I didn't notice. About a month ago I started getting this square appearing in the middle of my screen and totally locked it until you watched an add, rather annoying. I am using Mac with Safari nothing special. I then decided to join, I had been meaning to anyway, this is the best site iv been on with a lot of activity and helpful people and I wanted to support it and the efforts of the Administrators.

I picked up this ATV that had no spark. The previous owner said he was driving it and it died and would not start. He discovered it had no spark. He replaced the CDI and the coil with no luck. He got tired of it and I bought it. I replaced the stater and now it has strong spark. Now, it starts for a second or two then dies. It will not stay running. I have checked the timing and it is spot on. The valves are adjusted correctly. I see no warn issues with the cam. I put the original CDI and coil back on it. Same problem exists. Compression is at 65 psi (has decompression mechanism),
I took off the muffler in case the issue was clogged pipes. No change. I replaced the spark plug. No change. The carb was an aftermarket so I put a Niche carb on with no change. I bypassed the fuel pump and that did nothing to solve the problem.
I don't know if this is a carb issue or an ignition issue. I am looking around locally for an OEM carb to try out but not sure that will fix the problem.
Can anyone help me solve this problem. I am running out of ideas.
      Thank you for your time

Okay so I bought this 1997 sazuki king quad from a guy and he had it for a few years.
He had it registered and on the trails last year but he said it bogged and backfired when he would try to drive it. so it sat for a year.
I bought it for 800 bucks and got it running that night and it ran great for a few days
But I parked it the other night and went to start it again and it was really hard to fire up and when I did it was bogging and idling high then low again.
So I took the carb out and cleaned it (ended up doing it twice because it was still doing the same thing)
Now today I have it running slightly better, but it is still like 20%
I have been looking it up and trying to figure it out but I can't find the issue, has anyone else had this problem? I'll attach a video of it running and giving some throttle

Hello everyone! I have several ATVs for on farm use. 5 are Polaris : a Magnum 330, two sportsman 500 models, and two Sportsman 700 models.
I also have a Yamaha and a Suzuki.
All are older models and constantly needing repairs. So looking forward to wealth of knowledge on here 🙂

Hi everyone, I’m new here and new to 4 wheelers. Just got a Yamaha bear tracker 250 and joined here to see if I could get some help.
The motor runs and it drives if it up on jackstands but if you get on and try to ride it, it starts to drive but then quits after a foot or two and dies out and won’t drive. The guy I got it from said he was running and using it shifting through all the gears great and he started it up the next day and it started this.
He told me he thought it was the U joint on the driveshaft. He said it was probably worn and needed to be replaced.
I just finished pulling the swing arm and rear end assembly to check out the U joint and there’s no play in it. It’s tight and not nearly enough play to be loose enough to not catch and go.
Any ideas on what it could actually be?
      Thanks
      Timothy
