Did you ever get this fixed? I would check/replace the air filter and fuel filter a start and the rebuild the carb. However, depending on your budget, I would just buy and slap a new one on there. You can get them for under $50 on Amazon

Suzuki King Quad 300 Carb

I know this post is a couple months old, but have you had good luck with these carbs? I had bought a cheap one on Amazon awhile back for a mower, and it seemed ok for the short time I had it...🤷🏼‍♂️

I have actually, but I only buy ones with a high level of good reviews. I have found that on more than one occasion where I’ve had a part failure from something purchased on Amazon, I should have read the reviews!

I just had a Suzuki lt 230 quad runner do pretty much the same thing. Riding and bouncing around stirred up junk in the gas tank. I flushed it and it was fine for a couple weeks. Started doing it again , so I flushed the tank again and got more junk out of it. This time I put a inline filter in it. No more issues.

You always will want to double check the jet sizing and float level on these. I picked up a Motoku for my 02 Quadrunner 250 (with the BS29SS) and everything was wrong. Had to replace the pilot jet with a #15 (had a #40 in), main with a 67.5 (original was unlabelled), and adjust the float level (came at 12.5mm, these spec 17.1).  I'm fairly convinced they just are configured at the factory to run pig rich for some reason.

That's a good point that often goes underdiagnosed with older quads, especially if they are sitting around. flush teh tank and change the inline fuel filter.

having an issue with the unit when running under a load up a hill or in high gear, seems like the belt is slipping, there is a clapping sound coming from the primary clutch like it releases and snaps back in. i don't think I should have a noise like that. this is a friends unit and he has already replaced the primary twice with the same result.
not sure where to look next

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!

I see quite a few ads for that  Tribotex additive. It's kind of expensive, has anyone used it it their ATV or any other vehicle?
