Good move by Suzuki. Not having the Vinson in the lineup was a bad move, and the King Quad 450 was definitely lacking something. The new KQ500 will be a good competitor to the Grizzly 550 and Sportsman 500.

And still, Kawasaki hasn't released a 500cc utility quad. Unbelievable.

Polaris also has a 550 for 09. Personally I think Kawasaki builds a better big bore than a smaller bore. Big bore has been a strong selling point for the Kaw.

Also if the KQ 500 gains 2 more horsepower over the KQ 450, it would have the some hp as a Rincon.
