1998 Yamaha Warrior No Start - New to the forum

hey just got 98 warrior and at first it was running but pretty crappy and now it dosnt start at all..dosnt turn over nothin... deffinatly gata be somethin electrical

any suggestions??

Dead battery? You could have a bad stator, and/or voltage regulator/rectifier.

start with the battery connections/condition. you are likely to find the problem there.

i changed the positive and negative connectors to the battery..i also chanhed the starter relay..ny suggestions

What happens if you apply voltage directly to the starter. If nothing, then the starter is bad. A bad starter would not explain why it was running crappy though. So refer to my last post, but include the coil and CDI unit and all connections between them. Also take the carb apart, it may need a good cleaning.

found the problem.. the wire connecting the fuse was ripped and the wire inside was corroded to dust.. therefore no connection =)
