I would probably weld in a performance muffler...running no muffler at all is not a good idea, can burn your valves.

I agree, that would be a bad idea, for one, it would be obnoxiously loud, it would probably hurt your ears to ride it.

Exactly...you can run a low restriction high performance muffler..running with no muffler for a prolonged amount of time is not good.
