2007 Artic Cat 700 efi override?

Recommended Posts

You are right, it isn't on the linkage, it is mounted on the outside of the case. It should be close to where the shaft that connects to the shift linkage. I think it will be on the right hand side. If you take the switch off, you will see a pin and spring that go into the shift shaft, they are what actually move the switch. Be careful if you remove the switch, the pin and spring will probably fall out. I don't know if this switch has anything to do with reverse though. But it is worth a look to make sure, the gasket is an o-ring, so it should be ok to re-use, just make sure everything is clean.

You can switch the diodes out with another in the fuse box to see if one is bad.

The overide feature is exclusively for reverse. There is a way you can bypass the override switch if you are intrested but you should probally find the cause of your problem first.

hey swapcat im definetly interested in bypassing the reverse override any help will be appreciated i ride an 08 700efi im thinkin 07 was the same?
