2000 Suzuki King Quad LT-F300 4X4 Rear Axle/Wheel Locks-up

I would start by inspecting the rear brakes and draining the oil in the rear diff, check for any metal debris. It sounds to me like there is something floating around in the rear diff and getting jammed between the ring and pinion. I think a rear brake problem is less likely, but still plausible.

Is that machine full time 4wd? If so, I find it odd that the problem only affects the rear wheels unless you have a disconnect on the front driveline.

That machine has a very strange drive system, the tranny is pretty much geared directly to the rear end. The front wheels are driven off of a set of bevel gears that run a drive shaft that runs up to the front diff. Your problem could be in one of the gear boxes, I would think it more likely to be the secondary box where the final drive gears are. I would say the same thing, drain the oil out and look for metal debris. You also might want to inspect all of the u-joints in the drive train, if one of them is binding up, it could lock every thing up.

Just had this happen to a buddy of mine the other night. Rear wheels locked right up, no metal in the fluid, took the case off both sides and it was clean, gears and such look good. The case was way low on oil. The only thing I can figure is it is in the HIGH-LOW-SUPER LOW gear set. The center gear at the inside of the case, held in by a c-clip, is seized to the shaft, as far as I can tell it should spin. It is also not lined up with the dog on the splines. Has anyone hear of this happening?

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

Has anyone else had an issue on older king quads where the oil would leak from the top of the head (due to a failed gasket) and drip onto the hot exhaust? Mine got so hot one time it caught fire. Just wondering if this is a common issue, as I've seen the same thing happen on multiple bikes that were the same model.

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.
