I've been looking into buying a house and my rock buggy that I have been building for 5 years had to go... I sold most of the parts so I decided it was time for a new toy..

I found a 2008 RZR, its got ITP wheels/ ITP Terracross tires, front/rear bumpers and top. I threw some 4 point harnesses in it already and have a set of suspension seats left from my buggy that im going to try to put in it... I just ordered a UMP filter setup to do away with the crappy stock filter box. HID lights, Optima battery and exhaust are in the works for next month... Long travel and a few other thing are in the plans in the near future too...

yep they will take a beating and non spillable too... plus i was going to need more power for adding HIDs and a light bar probably later... should be installing my HIDs some time this weekend..

Optima batteries are not as good as you think. I use to work for them, you would not believe how many fail. But they are good about replacing at no charge. That was the nastiest job I have ever had.

Nice toy, can't wait to see the suspension work.

Finally had time to install my HID lights today... I got the kit off ebay from Burke moto pros..

Easy plug and go install, it only took about 30 min to install... You can tell the difference even during the day in my shop with the lights on...

Those are some gnarly looking seat belt bulckles haha. As long as you're safe it doesn't matter I guess

They are just normal 3 inch harnesses used in drag racing, offroad racing ect... They are a lot better than the stock slim seatbelts they have in them...

Long travel should be here tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks... they are a lot of fun and since the new XP 900s came out they are getting more affordable... I was going to go +6 per side but with +4 i can have long travel but still run trails at the dunes and back home...

nothing on the motor yet... Probably do an exhaust and a clutch and go from there... I dont know if i want to build a motor or go forced induction... MCX express makes an awesome turbo kit that makes these things wild but i dont know if i want to spend that much money...

its not all back together yet... I have a long hot couple of weeks at work and just havnt finished it up yet... My front brake lines are backordered so hopefully they will show up this week...

I finally got my lines from houser and everthing is back together... Im running stock shock on the back for now. I still havn't decided on what to run yet, thinking dual rate elka's with rebound. I was told by a few guys with rzr's not to run swaybars on them but it felt like it made the suspension roll to much and made it steer slow so i think im going to hook them up.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

Yesterday I got a UForce 1000 as my first bike and I am wondering if there are any owners that could advise where I can find budget parts and accessories for it.
I tried looking StarknightMT, but the filtering is a bit unreliable, so direct links or exact names are much appreciated.
I'm mostly interested in sliders and side cases, but any advices for "must haves" are welcomed.
      Thank you!

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!
