Well the winds were the worst part of the storm here in PA and even they were not bad. Just a little over 3" on the rain gauge but winds steady around 28-30 mph. A few limbs came down and the power went out but not too much damage.

I hope all of those in the direct path either got out or are OK. I don't think it was as bad as they stated but still life threatening.

I found a generator at a home depot 45 miles away. $799. The next day (day of the storm) the power was out and I needed a cable to hook up the generator directly to the house because the guy who sold it to me, told me it came with it. I went out in the storm and hit 4 home depots because the lights would be out for a while. Got home with the new cable and it was a 20 amp instead of 30 amp. What a bi***!!

Went back out later to find a 30 amp or make one, but noone had anything left. Got home and hooked up the generator with some regular plugs to power some essentials. 10 minutes later the lights went on! Go figure...

I wasted 2 days, but at least I will be prepared the next storm.

You have my luck! My wife says to me all the time "if it wasn't for bad luck, you would have no luck at all"

I filled up all my trucks with gas, filled up 6 gas cans, did a complete tune up on my welding machine (it has a 10,500 watt generator on it), batteries, flashlights, charged up all phones and laptops and the lights never even flickered!!!

It wasnt even that windy by me. A 6' x 2" tree branch fell in my yard. that was it!

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!
