They are saying that this will be the most damaging storm in 40 - 50 years.

I live in eastern PA and I think we are susposed to get hit with some high winds. Riding might not be that bad but driving home sure will be.

supposed to be a cat 2 when it hits us. Also the eye of the storm is coming right for Bay Shore so ill ride around here for a lil and check out the damage.

My friends in Bellmore are coming up to our house today, because they are below sunrise hwy and were suggested to evacuate. long island is going to get nailed.

If St Clair does get hit with a lot of rain be careful on your next trip there. The rain loosens up all that coal dirt and roads cave in and wash out real easy.

We are also just below sunrise highway but islip didnt order an evacuation yet. I dont think the hurricane will be bad but the flooding will be a bitch

Well the winds were the worst part of the storm here in PA and even they were not bad. Just a little over 3" on the rain gauge but winds steady around 28-30 mph. A few limbs came down and the power went out but not too much damage.

I hope all of those in the direct path either got out or are OK. I don't think it was as bad as they stated but still life threatening.

I found a generator at a home depot 45 miles away. $799. The next day (day of the storm) the power was out and I needed a cable to hook up the generator directly to the house because the guy who sold it to me, told me it came with it. I went out in the storm and hit 4 home depots because the lights would be out for a while. Got home with the new cable and it was a 20 amp instead of 30 amp. What a bitch!!

Went back out later to find a 30 amp or make one, but noone had anything left. Got home and hooked up the generator with some regular plugs to power some essentials. 10 minutes later the lights went on! Go figure...

I wasted 2 days, but at least I will be prepared the next storm.

You have my luck! My wife says to me all the time "if it wasn't for bad luck, you would have no luck at all"

i know this isnt an atv but same type of thing.  I have a riding mower im fixing and selling for my aunt and it has a dead battery.  i jumped it off my atv and when i turn the key nothing at all happens.  i tried jumping the relay still nothing.  this is with the seat down.  you wouldnt think this mower would have issues as its a top-of-the-line brand and almost brand new (aunt found it for a good price, still got tits on tires, just sat for a couple months in a mechanic shop

Morning myself, my wife, son and stepfather and a few others head up to Jericho NH a couple times a year. It’s beautiful and we love it. Only issue is it’s4 1/2 hours away looking for places a bit closer. Maybe southern NH? My son and I love sand pits and wife and stepfather like the trails with views. W we register them in nh, but never had the need to in mass as we never found anything this way. if anyone has any suggestions please please let er rip. Either for the day, or if camping available, for a few days. thanks in advance.
