Hey guys as of around 7:40 pm today being thursday my quad started & I backed it up and went forward and once around the yard. I had some wiring problems to workout and now thats done. I for got I unpluged 2 wires when putting the exhuast on & I had to scrape some paint off where the grounds connect to the frame. Now to recheck all my bolts, nuts & hose clamps, cotter pins. Then put on the foot boards & plastics, skid plates. Still have the front bumper to sand and paint & later on the rims & plastics. Camara battery is charging!

I use a little red and tacky between the seals and metal protector, it keeps the sand and mud out. Actually I am replacing the seals on my rear diff today.

Now for the wires that were cut make sure to solder them and apply a little dielectric grease then melt some heat shrink over them. This way you don't have problems there in the future.

Thanks guys! Swampcat thanks for the info soldering the wires & heat shrink was the plan but I got some good news I was able to swap the wired part of my accuator with the one with the cut wires. The reason for this is my diff had locked in 4wd and would not come out and the metal block on my accuator was chewed up and the one I got when I bought the frame is in real good condition. So I got that done today, front brakes bleed and working & the floor boards done. My new seals & bumper bolts will be in tuesday got them order today. Lower front bumper sanded & painted.

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

Has anyone else had an issue on older king quads where the oil would leak from the top of the head (due to a failed gasket) and drip onto the hot exhaust? Mine got so hot one time it caught fire. Just wondering if this is a common issue, as I've seen the same thing happen on multiple bikes that were the same model.

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.
