My 450r overheating?

Well, I rode my 05 450r yesterday like I always do, maybe a little harder than usual. But then again I never beat on my bikes. Seemed to get really hot, but the fan didn't turn on! Nothing crazy like coolant boiling out of the radiator, but it was HOT. Ever since i bought it, it hasnt used a drop of Anti-freeze that's in it. Any help is appreciated

Mine does that also but I don`t worry about it ! Does the red light go out or stay on ?Check the fliud level !! My fan hardly ever comes on

well, i rode it for 4 hours yesterday! And the fluid level has been the same since i bought it nope, i didn't notice the light being on

I`d keep your eye on it !! Mine fan only comes on when i idle for a while

i would also make shure the fluid is circulating good and make shure the out side of the radiator is clean and go from there ... like he said ... just keep an eye on it..

would an infrared thermometer work?? Im not sure what the temps are supposed to be but maybe take a few diff readings at warm up, idle, after a day of riding etc. maybe compare the temps to a buddys quad.

put some wet wetter or some thing like it. and try a inline cooler.
