Thanks guys I appreciate. If it wasn't for people being interested in the crazy stuff I do, I would not get the attention of these sponsors. Now that I can get better cameras I can make better videos.

So is this a competitor of go pro?? I like the smaller size! Congrads! where in PA do ya do your thang?

Yeah they are a competitor of Go-Pro. I am from Frackville so most of my riding gets done in that area. I like to stick to parts unknown. I try to fly under the radar as there are property and pay to ride issues where I am. I consider myself an old school freerider, with the main thing being free.

I am about to get a go pro. I would be very intrested in this new brand. I look forward to hear some reviews and may hold off on the go pro for a bit.

I will have my camera by next week and have some video posted shortly after. If you are not in a big hurry you can compare my video to Go_pro's and make a decision from that.

I hear the free part!!! of course you'd have to be on the other side of this state!!

If your near Johnstown, PA around July , a buddy usually has a nice weekend ride, FREE, well bring your own beer anyhow!, But its a blast about 2000 acres to get lost in! A great time in the trails!

I don't know where Johnstown is compared to where I am. 2000 acres to get lost in sounds awesome. I don't know what my schedule is gonna look like in July.

Thanks for throwing that out to me.

I got my new camera. I also picked up a sponsorship from Booster Motorsports and got an iBooster ignition booster from them so I will be checking that out also. I have a video session planned for Saturday, so I will be posting results next week. Stay tuned.

I have the music ready since last week. It's gonna be pretty cool. I liked the way the last Russian Roulette video was, so I did some synth programming and went that route. In order to get better footage I am doing another first and taking my daughter with to film, so that will add a whole new dimension to the video there.

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!

I have replaced the cracked stator cover on my non-running 2006 LT-F400F that I purchased recently, checked all the shafts vs the service manual and pics and advice here.  I replaced missing gears, bushings and washers, made sure that truth marks were all aligned properly, that the shift cam springs felt like they returned properly, etc.  IAfter installing the new stator cover I checked the transfer lever for proper movement from L-H-R and then cranked it up.  Happily, it runs and changes gears well in L,  but it will not shift into H or R for anything.  I have opened it back up and am going back through it looking for the missing puzzle piece(s) but how can I best check that I have everything right this time before buttoning it back up?

I took this video back in 2007. Recently the trail (old railroad grade) I was riding was converted into a walking trail (obviously no more ATV riding on it) 👎 I dug up this old video and put it together since it shows the entire section and what it used to look like. The quality of the video is lacking, but this was from 18 years ago. Image stabilization didn't exist back then so I wore the camera on my helmet. (mounted to the quad was useless with all the shaking) so there is some annoying frames of me looking around. I noted any historical items from the railroad in the video. There is a section where the railroad grade is wiped out due to erosion so I had to jump off it and ride an abandoned road for a section to get around it.

So my latest wheeler is a 04 Yamaha Bruin 350. It had all the wires cut from the stator and a few others and no wiring harnesses. The previous owner had them all twisted together and the bike neutral light would come on it would start (hard to start) but then would idle fine. It would die when you gave it gas so I soldered all the wires together and went on inspecting assuming it was a carb issue. Later after the carb was cleaned and adjusted I got this (see video). The bike would want to die anytime you gave it gas and there would be this horrible knocking sound but only when you gave it gas. I was worried it was the rod bearing and electrical still messed up somehow.
Upon further inspection of the wires coming from the stator there was a W/R wired to R and a R wired to W/R. I switched them so they matched per the service manual (W/R to W/R and R to R) and the bike started right up, idled and revved out fine and the knocking noise disappeared. This was the problem the whole time. It was just really hard to tell bc the oem wires coming from the stator were so brown and dirty I could barely make out which was which.
Where the hell did that knocking noise go? and what was causing it?? Just racking my brain trying to figure out what it was so I know for next time but I can't make sense of it... Really thought it was the rod bearing but it didn't make the noise at idle so I was questioning it...Luckily I kept searching!!
