I need to get a look at the whole fuse box--- that is both sides--side that holds fuses and the other half which I think is either open or houses a relay of some sort??? I think I am missing a relay ??????????

Snap a picture of your fusebox area a post it here. I could tell yah right away if it's missing the relay if it's similar to my machine. Mines a 2002, but still shoild be similar. I pulled my relay out and it sure looks like exactly whay you said in your previous post.

I took a few pics of my fusebox area. (don't mind the white Type-R or white connecter block, that's for my LED strobes.) the rest is stock wiringh and the starter relay is the black box that says DENSO on it.

If that link brings you too my albums, just look under the Quad Fusebox Pics, hope that helps.

tx for diagram figured out the quad is a 2008 and has a different wiring set up. Got missing relay from Ronnies , it came and is right BUT still will not fire up I know think the starter relay is shot. When I depress the started button the starter relay clicks and then the electric goes off. BUT comes back on in a few minutes --like some sort of relay resets itself--- shops are super busy and so I think I'll just buy a new starter relay and see it's the problem.

      Hi
Is looking for a quad to pull a flail mower as my first priority, but also a bit of fun.
So its going to be pulling a flail mower on high grass / weed on a bumpy field at pretty low speed.
My budget is not high, so is mostly looking at a old Yamaha Kodiak 400cc / Suzuki Eiger 400cc or similar.
What machine would you recommend  ?  - Really want a solid machine since I am no mechanic but can perform a early service myself.

(English is not my native, hope it makes sense)

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

Hi all.  New to the forum & quads.  Seems like a great place full of info.
I just recently picked up a 2005 Suzuki KingQuad LTA700.  I need a battery.  I've been reading up on conventional vs AGM types.  I have a Royal Distributing and Canadian Tire.  RD has 2 types avail for my year/Model a battery YTX16-BS CRANK $75, and BATTERY YTX20CH-BS YUASA $140.  Neither of these is the type from the manual FTZ16-BS.
from what I can tell... I think the only difference is the capacity with the $75 unit rated at 14 AH/10HR and the $140 unit rated at 18 AH/10HR ... which is the rating in the manual for the FTZ16-BS.  How much does this make a difference for nearly x2 the cost?
And about the models/type numbers.... what is important to know ... they all end in "-BS" but are the other details relevant or just manufacturer naming?
