2007 Arctic Cat - Fuel Pump Problem?

Cat won't run again. A year and a half ago it quit running. Replaced spark plug started ran 10 min. then backfired and quit. Took to dealer replaced fuel pump. Ran good until last week. Have same problem again. Is this a problem withthe 07's? pumps are damn expensive!

I have worked on a ton of 07s and I never had problems with the fuel pumps, The actually work off of a vacuum. You can hear the pump working if you take off the seat and listen to the pump. You can remove the supply line to the carb and put it on a IV and see if you can get it to start. The only fuel related problem I had was that the vacuum line from after the carb was loose and not pulling enough vacuum to make the pump work. I would blow out that line with compressed air and make sure there are no leaks.

See if you can prime the carb and if that works. I take it that the quad cranks but does not start?

Never had an issue with my '07 fuel pump, I would also check the fuel lines and vacuum line for cracks and leaks.
