1994 Yamaha Big Bear - Rear End Torquing First

Recommended Posts

Make sure your tires are the correct size and the air pressure is the same. It may be stuck in 4X4. Can you take it for a ride and see if the front wheels are grabing.

its all time 4x4...but it does have a low tire....not sure if they are the correct factory size. these are aftermarket tires and were on there when i bought it.

As long as all 4 are the same size abd pressure you are ok. You can also measure all of the tire heights. If the fronts or rears are alot lower than the otherone then the ratio is diffrent. The front will want to spin faster/slower than the rear. Just a starting idea.

I would also check the diff fluid and see what color it is and if there is any metal in it. I always start with the cheap ways to check first.

With all time 4x4, swampcat is correct. Tire pressure and size is crucial. If someone put tiny tires on the front & big tires on the back, then it's binding the driveline. A low tire will also create problems. I'm sure the front diff is open but is the rear solid axle?, or IRS? I'd focus on tires and pressures first, then if that checks out ok, check the front diff & or brakes. JMHO.

It should be normal for a little drag then. Heck my 2012 can am has a clunk in the clutch and so do all the other models, I guess they are just normal operating quarks.

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!

2022 Sector 550, 414 miles on it and the gas gauge reads empty.  I topped off the gas and it didn't change.
There is no fuse that I could find.  No access at the gauge cluster.
Wiring on the top of the tank looks good, properly connected.
Could the sending unit in the tank be stuck or broken?
Has anybody removed the tank lid?  Any tricks?
      Any other ideas?
      Thanks for any help,
      Clyde

1996 4x4 Timberwolf rearend width. Can someone with some knowledge of these machines answer this question for me please. Are all 4x4 timberwolves this narrow in the rearend? These tires are so close the right one actually rubs the muffler.  Thinking about seeing if there are any spacers out there for it. I need at least an inch more clearance.

From Arkansas. Just bought a 2012 Gator 850i RSX because I could not pass up the price. BUT it has an idle problem. So, to be honest, I joined just to get a service manual. I have a choice: 1)Buy a hard copy: ~$100; 2)Buy a CD ~$35.00; Get a direct download for free posting 10 times; or get a download for $29.00 (subscription). Haven't decided what to do yet.
