Hey ya'll, I just got back to yankee-land, and couldn't wait to get back to riding. I just thought I would put up a few pics to let you see what you are missing out on. Hopefully I can track down some people to ride with, so I can get some nice action shots soon.

Its great riding, we've got around 3000 acres of farmland, with 2000 of it wooded. I worked all summer cleaning the trails, and I have plenty more to clear.

I haven't found much in the way of ATV organizations, although the snowmobilers have a really nice trail system up here. Its just to bad that we ATV's cant use the same system. So using the logging trails, I have been making my own system. Sooner or later maybe I will even be able to find some riders up here too.:cheers2c:

Thanks Wylde, I really like your videos! I am trying to figure out editing and posting some video too. I always thought it would be pretty good riding down around Frackville.

We got about 8" of snow last night, so I am going to have to get back out there sometime today. I just need to find a good photographer like you have, so I can get some action shots of my quad. It really does run, I don't just push it from picture to picture.

Keep posting those vids!

I get it, turn counterclockwise will decrease, turn clockwise will increase.  My question is what exactly am i increasing or decreasing? Is it clutch pressure? In many videos i've seen it's always "turn counterclockwise" until you feel resistance then back off. Why is it always to decrease?
I'm just curious as to what exactly is going on when i turn that screw right or left. And, since there's no manual clutch to engage or disengage, what is going on inside?
Reason why i'm asking is while going down a hill in 1st gear, it appears to pops out of gear, but no neutral light, and if i stop, it's in 1st gear still. BUT, (always a but) if the engine is warmed up, it stays in 1st gear. The hill is too steep to use any other gear, so 1st with the brakes is the only way to go down.

Just aquired this Honda 4514. I had heard of them and seen them but had never really looked at one. Amazing machine from the 90s.
It has a 14 HP inline 2 cylinder engine. A cute little fan like the old school cars had and a little radiator. It has a timing belt on the back of the engine running the cam and a water pump. Just like a miniature car engine with  electronic clutches to turn blades on and off. Pretty hight tech for the 90s not a small thing and built like a tank weighs in at 600 pds hydrostatic trans. I have found out that almost anything you have to do to it the engine has to come out starter timing belt water pump. Very expensive parts i think most got junked for that reason, i did find out they were built by John Deere except for the honda engine.
Does anyone here have any expierience with these.

What are your riding location preferences? Mud Park? Personal Trails? Public Land?

I'm repairing a 96 Timberwolf 2x4. Many years ago a dog chewed the wires that go from stator to the rectifier/regulator, and I've had to use the pull start ever since. Ive since lost the plug for the stator and on the wiring harness side. I'm ordering a new stator that will also come with the female plug that I need to fix it on the wiring harness side, but I have no clue in what position to put those 3 white wires(ones I'm holding with electrical tape on them) back into the new plug. Since they're all the same color, does it matter? Any info on this or pictures anyone has of their own will be very much appreciated.
