update I changed the spark plug went threw and plugd and unpluggd every conection its getting fuel and spark I sprayed the air filter with quik start and still nothing

could this have something to do with my pool rope breaking the black part came off while running and sucked the rope back in and it was spinning I took it off and took the rope out and reasembeld and was running fine till I hit a hump then it just died it will crank but could the fly wheele or whatevers next to the pull starter be the culprit???

also could it be the clutch casing it to not fire ?????

That is why I hate messing with electrical issues. You could chase it from one end of the quad to the other and back again. I wish you luck and keep posting the results. I am waiting for my tax return and sending my to my mechanic. This is one issue I don't mind paying him to figure out, besides it is too damn cold in my garage to do any work now.

yes but if its getting spark and cranking over perfectly than I don't think it would be electrical I think it has something to do with the pull start any body else have problems after they've done fuckd up there pull start?????

and also if the clutch is out or not properly working could that be the cause when I pull clutch and try to start it still trys to go forward a little and its adjusted all the way out already

Damn, that is crazy. It doesn't sound like you were really beating on it. What made it go apocalyptic on you?

faulty repairs whoever rebuilt it last used a longer bolt and washers to hold the cam and timing chain when it loosened up it just started eating away the timing sprocket chain guide and cam is all destroyed... I HATE CRAIGSLIST!!!

      Hey I have a 1997 big bear 350 4x4
I replaced the shifter shaft and the shift arm linkage and the rod when I installed them all I was unaware that you had to line the dot on the shifter shaft with the gap on the linkage arm gap put it all back  together and rode it I can't get it to shift in the right gears  I can move the shift cam by hand and goes in different gears but with the shifter shaft in it riding I can't put it in R or N
Anyone know how to line up the shifter shaft and the shift cam s

I WANTED TO UPGRADE THE CARBURATOR ON MY 1992 BIG BEAR 350, SO I ORDERED A NEW CARB FROM EBAY.  ACCORDING TO THE WRITE-UP IT WAS A GOOD FIT FOR BIG BEARS FROM 1988 TO 1996.  WHEN I REMOVED MY ORIGINAL CARB I NOTICED THAT IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE NEW CARB MY CARB HAD TWO THROTTLE  CABLES THE NEW CARB ONLY HAD ONE CABLE.  HOW CAN I MAKE THIS CARB WORK ON MY TWO CABLE THROTTLE?

My friends KQ 300 starts fine and runs, as soon as you put it in gear and try to accelerate its bucks and farts like crazy, not moving... I cleaned carb and it worked good for 1 day... now back to same problem.... could it be such as a bent valve????

Have a 1998 AC 300 2x4, Just installed a new carburetor. Engine starts easy but the choke RPMs are very hi and take along time (5-10 mins when cold out). After engine has warmed up choke releases and it idles and runs fine., It does no have an electric choke. The choke lever is never used and it seems like an auto choke? Long story short, how can I lower the choke rpm levels?

Also, carb came with a spare145 jet, not 100% sure what is installed. Could this impact choke RPMs?

Any help and information greatly appreciated.

      Hello,
I was able to repair most of the little problems on my 2006 BRUIN. I still have little things to do...
I changed the Hazard light Switch because it was not locking when pushed and now it is not working at all. When I connect it (not sure of the wiring -4 wires but a lot of connection possible on this HELLA 3916-01 switch-) the flashing lights button (on the handlebar) is acting like the Hazard light switch.
