what did u do put a 2 stroke motor on your wheeler?

ok well the shift star is on the same side as the clutch, follow your shift fork (the shifter hooks to it) and it will be hooked to the shift star, make sure it sits even the (shift shaft) and that the hooks at the end of the shift shaft are sitting centerd so it is not being pulled up or down. check to see that the return spring is still hooked to the shaft it will be where the shaft comes through. as far as the shift forks and shift cam well there inside the motor it's self, if the cam is worn down it will make shifting hard, also the forks might be bent causing a hard shift. go to (ALBA Action Sports - Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki Kawasaki, Polaris, Can Am, Sea Doo Parts, Accessories, Riding Gear and More) and go to the OEM PART FINDER if u want to look inside the motor to get a better understanding.

as far as shifting are the points on your shift star wore down? and u might even have a worn out shift cam or bent shift forks if u do the lower gears are a bi*** to find!! or try your shift fork make sure it aint bent!

FU** our government!!!!!!!!!!!! but yea i olny have 2 and a pair of gloves.

how dose it handle??

i dont see how u would burn a new quads clutch unless you were riding the clutch or u had the clutch cable adjusted to tight, make sure u have a little play on the clutch arm on the motor, like 1/4 of in inch is ok. if u have no freeplay in the cable that would cause the prussure plate NOT to close all the way causing the clutch plates to slip. that smale was your friction plates. i dont see the basket being grooved because u just got your quad so the basket shuld be fine but i would check it anway just to make sure it aint.

lol u look funny in that pic:laugh:

u dont gain or loose any power it is just a kill switch. it grounds the motor out when u release the thumb throttle.
